Stop At: Kinkakuji Temple, 1 Kinkakujicho, Kita-ku, Kyoto 603-8361 Kyoto Prefecture

Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion) is known for its color. The top 2 floors are completely covered in gold leaf. After enjoying watching Kinkakuji temple, you can still continue to walk through the Japanese style garden.

Stop At: Nijo Castle, 541 Nijo-jo-cho, Horikawa-nishi-iru, Nijo-jo-dori, Nakagyo-Ku, Kyoto 604-8301 Kyoto Prefecture

Nijo castle was build for a residence of the first shogunate in Edo era, Ieyasu Tokugawa. After the Tokugawa shogunate fell, the castle was used as am imperial palace for a while. The castle is now donated to the city and opened up to the public.

Nishiki Market is a narrow, five-block long shopping street lined by more than one hundred shops and restaurants. Known as "Kyoto's Kitchen", this lively retail market specializes in all things food-related, like fresh seafood, produce, knives and cookware, and is a great place to find seasonal foods and Kyoto specialties, such as Japanese sweets, pickles, dried seafood and sushi. Please enjoy lunch and purchase souvenirs here.

Kiyomizudera is one of the most celebrated temples of Japan. It was founded on the site of the Otowa Waterfall in the wooded hills east of Kyoto and derives its name from the fall's pure waters. Kiyomizudera has been under renovation since 2008 and it has finally completed in 2019.

Stop At: Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, 68 Fukakusa Yabunouchicho, Fushimi-ku, Kyoto 612-0882 Kyoto Prefecture

Fushimi inari-taisha shrine is the most important shrine that is dedicated to Inari. It is famous for more than thousands of Torii gated donated by companies and individual people.
