Alessandro was wonderful, professional and tried to make us savor every part of our daily events. It turned out to be the day after Easter and still managed to find the most sublime and delicious trattoria for lunch. He was very knowledgeable. What a wonderful day!

Both Agrigento and Piazza Armerina we’re beautiful, but Piazza Armerina was amazing! The mosaics were in near to perfect condition and truly amazing to see!! Our driver Danilo was so friendly and supper funny. He brought us to an amazing restaurant and the way to the Piazza Armerina and the food was delicious. We had the Pasta Norma. We also meet his boss and he was also very friendly. My husband and I will definitely book another tour with them if we’re ever back in Catania!!We had such a good time on this tour despite being slightly concerned over how far Agrigento is from Catania. We had such a good time on this tour despite being slightly concerned over how far Agrigento is from Catania. We were picked up on time (8am) by our driver/guide Dario. He immediately checked if we'd managed to grab breakfast and as we hadn't took us to a nearby cafe. After a quick stop for coffee and croissant we were on the road. Dario explained how he thought the day should go, to make it easier for us. Including a short lunch stop. Dario was very knowledgeable about Catania and indeed Sicily and was able to give us information as we travelled but also answered our questions. We visited the Piazza Armerina first, about an hour and a bit from Catania. Dario explained our visit options and gave us an hour and 15 minutes which was plenty of time. It is an amazing place with fantastic mosaic pictures throughout. The detailing in the pictures is just so clever. We then travelled directly to Agrigento new town and stopped for a snack lunch which suited us fine. We even managed to see the Valley of Temples and the surroundings as the view was amazing. Finally dropped at the Valley, again Dario explained what was available and where to meet once finished. Two hours later, after visiting the 5 very different temples we were collected. The trip back was about 2 hours but felt less because Dario was able to answer our questions and give us other information about the local area. A thoroughly enjoyable day. Splendida esperienza culturale. Esperienza raccomandata davvero. Un particolare ringraziamento alla nostra guida Roberto. Renata e Maria Cristina.Roberto was very punctual. Again this was my mistake. Dario was great fun.
