We just had an amazing and historic trip in Egypt with our friends for 16 days. From the moment we arrived, to the day we left, we were looked after by GAT Tours. Upon arrival at the airport, the wonderful Mr. Osama picked us up . Mr. Osama was there for us with a smile and important information. No detail was too small, or too big for him not to look after. Cannot begin to tell you how special our dedicated drivers were. Always around the corner. Ready to pick us up within minutes of being texted. Our first day started with Mrs. Manar, with her information and smiles for the whole day. Mrs. Manor explained everything we needed to know about the Giza pyramids and Memphis. Also, a great photographer! So, very special and knowledgeable. When one travels with Gat Tours, one has a qualified Egyptologist with you at all times. Then we were very lucky to get Mr. Sayed as our tour guide for the rest of the trip. I’m sure they’re all very talented and informative, but we felt we had hit the jackpot with Mr. Sayed. We feel that what he knew, resulted in one of the most fabulous historic tours we’ve ever had. Not only do we consider Mr. Sayed a friend, we hope to be lucky enough see him on our next trip. We also want to thank Mr. Sayed for teaching my husband, with all his patience, many details of the hieroglyphics. We chose the tour that involved two days in Cairo, Nile Cruise, many excursions and temples…out of this world! We also had five days at the Red Sea at the Movenpick El Qusir at the end of our tour. Highly recommend the Movenpic Hotel at the end. Beautiful rooms over looking the ocean as well as staff and food were all excellent! Even involved a camel ride! Then it was back to Cairo for two nights to go to one of the most famous museums in the world! Only partially open, but we did get to see the mummies and many authentic statues. Thank you Gat Tours for making our 50th anniversary so special!

We had a great 10-Day experience in Egypt thanks to the excellent services of Gat Tours. They were superb since we arrived, when they met us at the airport, until we leave and they assisted us until the departure gate. The Sonesta Cruise on the Nile was great, as well as all tours. We visited Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Abu Simbel. Always timely and with attention to detail, their guides were kind and pleasant, great knowledge, and we always felt well served and safe. An absolutely first class experience in our tour of Egypt organised by the excellent Mohammed Ramadan. From start to finish every detail was taken care of. We were escorted to and from all airports and hotels. We had first class guides to explain everything and comfortable cars to visit the sites. Excellent tourist guide Rodwa is great tourist guide, kind, available, and she explains really well all about the history of pyramid and Cairo as well but the other colleagues as well, Osama Manage flights from/to airport and assist you for every details of your transport, Michael really kind and available for any request, Cairo is an amazing city for me even if is really huge end it offer gorgeous archeological sites as Giza and saccara as you can find beautiful places about pyramid, Memphis is pretty nice place because it s a open sky museum and finally the drive is really good

The whole trip was very organised and we were made to feel comfortable throughout our experience as the team looked after us. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about many aspects of the trip, the communication was excellent between the team members and we were well looked after. We highly recommend as we also had our 16 month baby with us. The trip went very smoothly.

We can not begin to say enough positive about GAT Tours and the tour guides - Hassan and Sayed - who provided an informative and entertaining first trip to Egypt. We spent 10 days touring Cairo, Alexandria, Aswan, Luxor and the Valley of the Kings, as well as a 3 night Nile cruise. Every detail was covered by a professional and enthusiastic company representative, starting with Yasser who met us at the airport and helped us clear immigration and customs at 3:30 in the morning. He was the first person we met in Egypt and he was a wonderful ambassador for Egypt. We felt safe at all times and that our needs were cared for and exceeded. Our driver in Cairo/Alexandria, Muhammad, was an expert in maneuvering the Cairo traffic and was able to get us everywhere efficiently and safely. The tour guides were very personable and extremely knowledgeable and even provided expert photo opportunities that allows us both to be in the pictures. I would like to thank GAT Tours who organized our once in a life time trip to Egypt. It all started with meeting Mohamed Ramadan at the Cairo International Airport, who helped us in going through all the formalities with ease. He helped us from literally before we went through Egyptian Customs. He then introduced us to our driver for the duration of the trip, Mr Mohamed Ali. Mr Mohamed is a fantastic man, he knows every shortcut in Egypt, he was very patient and was a lot more than just a driver to us, he was like our personal security, always looking out for us and providing local knowledge as he droves us through different towns. After a nights rest at our hotel, we were greeted in our hotel lobby by Ms Manar. She is an excellent guide whose knowledge of Egypt is vast, and who never got tired of repeating what we did not understand - that also with a smile. Courtesy her, we could have some lovely Egyptian Cuisines, at some of the best places. She even took us at the right places to buy Souvenirs, Egyptian perfumes and Papyrus paintings. We were booked in with one of the best 5 star hotels in Cairo, the team at GAT tours were also a 5 star operation. They went above and beyond to ensure every morning and afternoon that everything was ok and we were comfortable Mr Mohamed Ali even helped me with a personal favour! I wanted to wear the traditional Arabic mens clothing and headpiece for some photos in the desert with the camels. I pre arranged this with him and he went out of his way to buy me these garments to ensure I was able to take the memorable photos I had wanted to. Thank you for this. I cannot thank this company enough for such a wonderful tour and providing us with a lifetime of memories. I strongly encourage others to book with them

We were greeted right from the Airport arrival hall. Hotels had amazing views facing the pyramids and the other one facing the Nile river. They were very nice to give a complimentary sim card that cater for all my communication need during my stay. The tour guide was a knowledgeable Egyptologist, capable of reading all the ancient scriptures. Within 2 days we mesmerised by the amazing heritage from ancient Egypt to the Islamic dynasties until the current republic. We were charmed by Saqqara warm hospitality during lunch stop. The food was unforgettable Wear comfortable shoes. July weather is quite challenging.

Upon our arrival at the airport we were met by Omar before even getting to passport control. This was very pleasant as Omar made sure we had the correct documents and had filled in the correct info on the forms prior to getting to the front, (airport staff are not the friendliest) But things went smoothly from then on, as he made sure we arrived safely at our hotel, he explained everything to us and briefed us on what to expect. After Omar checked us in we had a rest day and got ready for what was ahead, On all the tours the tour guides we well informed, patient, and had a good sense of humor and had a very welcoming demeanor. We did alot of tours during our 7 day visit in Egypt and the guide took us on extra cultural visits where we see the oils and fabric factory as well as how they make the papayus paper etc. My favourite was Muhammed when we went on the Mt Sinai climb where we had booked the sunrise hike(night), but he advised us to do the sunset hike(day) as climbing up the mountain is rocky and not easy and also you still get to see the sunset. Boy was he right, it is not an easy climb and it makes it so much easier seeing the stones and rocks clearly in the sunlight, I ended up taking the camel ride but that only gets you up to a certain level of which the rest you must walk yourself if you wanna reach the top. I really appreciated the care Muhammed showed us as he literally held my sweaty hand going up, didn't complain when I wanted to take a million breaks and really motivated me to get to the top. He even bought me muscle cream (from his own pocket) to rub on my legs so they don't get too sore. I highly suggest a stay at one of the Resorts in Sharm El Sheik if you choose to do Mt Sinai. its a lovely way to relax after climbing the mountain. It was truly a memorable trip we had and I couldn't have asked for better guides to share my journey with. I would recommend GAT tours to anyone and I will definately be using them again soon. Thank you to all the guides, drivers and esp Omar and Muhammed. Omar you really took care of us, we felt safe the entire time and because of that we will be coming back in the near future to visit with our little ones.

I will not do justice if I do not thank our tall smart driver Mr Ahmed, who drove us through whole of Cairo and Alexandria. It was an emotional Goodbye when we left Egypt,at the Airport,where even Ms Manar had specially come to see us off.
