Kamal is a great and safe driver, the car has seat belts and air conditioning which is great as Sri Lanka is very hot! Kamal would often stop at the side of the road so we could try local foods which was amazing! Our planned tour was perfect, we saw much more than we would ever be able to see on our own! We felt safe at all times on our tour and nothing was ever too much trouble! Even when I was unsure on our hike due to my fear of heights Kamal was so encouraging and patient! We travelled starting from Colombo, via Dambulla, then Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Kandy, Ella, Kataragama (a must-see temple with a bodhi tree 2300 years old), arriving at the beautiful ocean coast in Mirissa. It took six days, we stayed in nice guest houses, our driver and a guide at the same time, Dammi, one of the brothers, an easy going, super nice and utmostly friendly guy, always smiling, witty and joyful, took care of everything, arranged for lunches, planned with us the list of attractions for a given day, knew all the tricks needed to pull off the best time of your life here in Sri Lanka. You will definitely have a unique experience of visiting unspoiled by commercial touristic industry Asian country, wildlife and landscapes. Only owing to Dammi and his knowledgeble insights we met wild elephants on the road somewhere within interior having them almost at our fingertips. We travelled with Randika 10 days. We never had the experience with private guide before. You just have a big new car for 8 people, guide that knows everything in Sri Lanka, good friend that helps you in every situation. He built with us tracks according our possibilities, was 24/7 for us and it wasn't expensive! He was with us in hospital when our daughter fell from bycicle, helped to exchange money, talked to our kids and explained everything. He has a lot of charm and patience, It is just a fun to be with him.
