This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Qinling North Road, Lintong District, Xi'an 710600 China
Your private guide and driver will meet you in your hotel lobby around 08:30 or you request time, one hour drive to Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, around 3 hours enjoyable visit to museum pit 1, pit 2, pit 3 and Bronze Chariots all exhibition without any tourist factory stop.
You will have local restaurant lunch before one hour drive back Xi’an downtown for 2 optional city attractions. Your guide and driver will drive you back hotel at end of this whole day tour.

Stop At: Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta), Enci Temple The southern part of Yata Road, Yanta District, Xi'an 710061 China
Your first option is to visit Big Wild Goose Pogoda which is considered as one of the Xi'an History landmarks, Great Tang dynasty culture relics temple. Your private guide will tell you why the pogoda is leaning, what is the Buddhist philosophy, how is today China religion condition. A lot of monks and believers stay out in the yard if your visit time is the chanting day.

Stop At: Xi'an City Wall (Chengqiang), Zhongxin District, Xi'an 710001 China
This is the second attraction option, follow your guide to climb up to the top of the 600 years old Ancient City Wall, enjoy around 20~30 minutes comfortable and quietly walking or rent a bike enjoy 30 minutes fun cycling exercise on the top of the wall with your guide history explaination.

Stop At: Xi'an Banpo Museum, North of Banpo Village, Baqiao District, Xi'an 710038 China
This is the third attraction option.You will learn 6000 years old matriarchal clan information along the original village site which is devided into three parts: living house site, burial tombs site and pottery making kilns. A lot of vivid pictures, movie, models and videos are also helpful to understand that special "girl power" time life.

Stop At: Temple of the Eight Immortals (Ba Xian An), Wu Dao Shizi Dongjie, Xi'an China
The 4th option is a Daoism/Taoism temple which is famous and popular for Xi'an local people go there to pray, to listen monk chanting, to ask a fortune teller or to buy burial objects in the market nearby.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Muslim market, Muslim Street, Xi'an China
The 5th option is Muslim Market or called Muslim Street in the afternoon, you will follow your guide explore Muslim snacks along the crowded street, big piles of limb skewers, yellow color sticky rice, stir fruit ice cream, nuts candy, beef burger.....you may stay 1 hour here or longer based on your request.

Maya is an amazing tour guide with Catherine Lu tours. She met us at the airport and immediately we felt very comfortable with her. We started with the terra-cotta soldiers and quite a few other sites. The tours were exceptional and her knowledge of local culture to historical background is outstanding. We toured Xi’an for two days and during this time Maya felt like part of our family. She is funny and informative. We learned a lot from her and would book again with Catherine Lu and request her be our guide. Additionally, she took the time to help us navigate the local train station and got us to the exact spot we needed to line up at in the terminal for our train ride to Chengdu.hnunez62

Our family of four (children ages 3 and 4) recently returned from a four-city tour of Mainland China (Beijing-Zhangjiajie-Shanghai-Xi’an). Our holiday was stress-free thanks to Catherine Lu. Domestic flights, transportation to and from airports, and English-speaking guides all were arranged by Catherine Lu. Airport transfers were timely and professional. And the recommended accommodations in each city were spot-on. We were shown Xi’an by Dodo, a knowledgeable and articulate woman, who grew up in Xi'an and who is intimately familiar with the area. She provided us cultural context to the sights, introduced us to the famed Mr. Young (Yang Xi) at the Terra Cotta Warrior Visitor’s Center, and recommended a well-known local noodle restaurant for lunch, which was our favorite meal of the trip. Dodo speaks fluent English and has traveled extensively, providing added depth to our tour. As an added bonus, she was incredibly patient and understanding of our two children. He even came in with us to help us get through check-in. Upon our arrival in Xi'an, we were met by Maya. We started our trek to the Terra cotta Warriors with our driver. Her love of this area was shining through in her talk of the history. Maya's English was excellent! Although we were slightly pressed for time due to the nature of the tour that we chose, Maya took us to the highlights of the area without making us feel rushed.
