today we had a wonderful experience with a private guide. we drove through the beautiful areas of cognac. the guide told us a lot about the history of the area. the information was more than expected and was great. At the first stop we learned a lot about cognac making and with the occasional delicious sip of great cognac varieties. then at the 2nd stop we tasted cognac that had been processed for cocktails. it was a great experience and really recommend to do a private guide for an excursion. big thumbs up

A highlight of my vaction! As we drove from location to location, the guide gave a wonderful explanation of the history of the region, the development of Cognac, and the people of the area. Everything was very well done, and I learned far more than I ever expected to. The cooperage and both distilleries were very welcoming. The tastings were outstanding as well. Both producers were very generous, sharing even thier oldest and most valuable Cognacs. I highly, highly recommend this tour.
