My kids 13 and 15y old took 2 lessons with Surf Life Tenerife and they were thrilled. Beautiful Marta was their surf guide and she gained their trust immediately. She was very clear in communication, had their repect, cared a lot about safety and focused on positive experince so the kids would improve their skills and especially enjoy surfing now and in future. Amazing instruction and help during my first surfing class. Marta was always friendly and patient the whole time, with her help, we were able to learn how to surf the basic waves within two hours in a very safe and enjoyable way! We’d never surfed before but wanted to try after hearing Tenerife was a good spot for beginners. After some research, I found Surf Life online just around the corner from our hotel. We opted for a private lesson, and managed to get one the next day with Angela. She was fantastic at explaining the theory, not just of what to do on the board and how to fall safely, but also of the sea and etiquette with other surfers (who has priority on the wave etc.) After a warm up and some practice on land, we went into the sea, and I was able to stand up on my 2nd attempt! We loved it so much, a couple of days later, we went back and had a lesson with Marta who was so fun. Because we understood some of the basics, she gave us some more rein with what to do and we had a little competition go see how could catch the most waves! Would absolutely recommend if you’ve always wanted to try. I would also opt for the private lesson if you’re a beginner like us! I would also opt for Surf Life as the spot they take you to is less busy than Playa de Las America, so for a beginner, it’s much easier to get to grips without being worried about a collision.

During our holiday we wanted to take some longboard lessons and we were also looking for someone to give our boys some surf lessons. After some research I came across Surf Life Tenerife and booked the premium surf coaching for us. The 3 boys had 2 private surf lessons with Bea and they absolutely loved her. She is great with kids. We did the longboard coaching with Antonio @mistersurflife ;-) Even though we prefer to be on the water, the video analysis and theory are a must do to improve your surfing. We've learned a lot and definitely made progression. We've enjoyed every minute we spend with Antonio. Excellent coaching ! Surf Life Tenerife is a small surf school with a very personal and warm approach. Highly recommended for beginners or to improve your surfing skills. Until we meet again... It was amazing, Antonio that was teaching us was really helpfull and me and my son learn the basics of how to ride the surfboard, i will definitely recommend this if someone want to learn how to ride a surfboard

We wanted to try surfing during our stay on Tenerife and from our research (TA reviews) , there could have been only one choice - Surf Life Tenerife. We booked a private lesson for couples but we misunderstood at what time is the lesson. We contacted Antonio and he was very flexible, changed the hour for us and we have already found him to be very friendly and professional. The first lesson we had was with Alejandro, who is a great teacher - gave us only the most important information which quickly allowed us to stand up on boards, even though it was our first time surfing. We enjoyed it so much that we changed our plans for the rest of the visit on Tenerife to get another lesson from Surf Life. Again, Antonio was very flexible and adjusted his schedule for us as we had only one possible date to surf before going back to Poland. This time, it was Antonio himself giving us instructions. We spent another 2 hours in great moods and we are very glad we did it again. During both lessons we felt very safe and Antonio even saved our action camera that was kidnapped by the tide. Dont look further, just call Antonio - it is impossible not to like him and his people. Thanks again, guys, we will see you again!

It's amazing how the whole surf team makes you feel confortable in every wave condition. Even for the intermediate level, instructors' advices and observations were important to get better my riding. I was able to ride waves never tried before thanks to them and, as any surfer knows, knowing a spot and how it works it's essential to improve. This was possible thanks to tony's and his wondful staff's private lessons. What can I say more? Thanks Surf Life and see you for next trip!

My boyfriend and me had one of the BEST experiences during our holiday!! We took 5 surf clases and from now on SURFING will definitely be part of all our future holidays. It was simply amazing. First i was a little afraid of this type of watersport but I highly recommend It to everyone cause you really connect with your body and nature- uncomparable with any other sport! Thank you guys from Surf Life Tenerife, Antonio, Daniele and Alejandro, we can only recommend this surf school! Really cool coaches who know in every single minute how to motivate and teach their students- spreading LOVE !! Here some Big plus points why we recomment Surf Life Tenerife: They picked us up on time, the surf school is just some steps away from the surfspot, the spot is not crowded at all, the team is allways whatching over you ❤️ and really teaching you how to improve in each movement you do. This was a super fun morning. We had a private family lesson with Alejandro and he was terrific - so patient and helpful. The water was cool but we didn't notice because the wetsuits were excellent and it was a good place to learn. The waves were perfect for learning.

We reached a double surfing class. We were warmly and lovingly received by Antonio, Alejandro and Miguel. Guys are great and smiling and just want to come back. Thank you!

Had a total of 5 lessons; 4 private lessons with myself & daughter/daughter on her own and 1 extra group lesson on last day due to thoroughly enjoying the experience. The shop is a short walk from the beach and wet-suits, shoes (a must) and surfboards supplied were in very good condition. The beach used for surfing had 2 areas for surfing with different sized waves; 1 area is better for beginners and the other area for more experienced surfers with all 5 days having good waves. Our instructors Antonio and Alejandro are both very very friendly and approachable guys who demonstrate a passion for what they do. They are hands on and are in the water with you throughout the lessons helping, encouraging and providing instruction to help you get the most out of the session. This is our 3rd year surfing and was by far the best experience with the most notable improvement in our skills. Other staff in the shop are also extremely friendly and no doubt have a similar passion for what they do. I would definitely recommend and would go back to this area specifically for surfing with Antonio, Alejandro and Surf Life; a very memorable experience.
