The private tour was exactly what we needed! Alejandro (Alejo) was a very knowledgeable tour guide and gave us a mountain of information regarding each thing we saw & place we visited. Alejo provided us with a true five star experience. He also provided some of his experiences living in Medellin for many years. Our daughter wasn't feeling her best so we asked Alejo to tailor the tour somewhat - which he was more than willing. The tour company is definitely a class above so many others.

If you like history and art, this tour is for you. We visited Memory Museum and it was a very moving experience. We also saw Botero statues and learned a lot about history of this region. Erika, our guide, really loves her country and shared so many interesting details with us. She was amazing, make sure to request her, you won’t be disappointed.

This is the perfect day tour of Medellin. Our tour guide Alejo Duque was everything we could ask for. Alejo met us on-time at our hotel for pick up. He made sure we had all of our needs met before beginning the tour. The tour lasts about 5-6 hours long. Prepare yourself to walk! Time will go by very quickly seeing and visiting all of the sites. It rained off an on throughout the day and we had a great time nonetheless. at one time, while seeking shelter from the rain, Alejo took us to a historical pub in the city where we could stop and grab a drink while enjoying the history and beauty of teh downtown area. Andres was an amazing tour guide! What I love about Medellín Day trips is you can customize your tour to be what you want. Andres was so personable and knowledgeable. This was my second time doing the city tour and he showed us a few things I had not seen before. He even let me have my 1/2 hour in the museum shop. He is very polite, informative, helpful and happy to answer any questions with patience and courtesy, He was even kind enough to arrange a pick up from the airport for me to start the city tour as i was flying in on the same day, My guide for the city tour was Alejandro. He was simply superb! He was knowledgable, cheery and an easy going, amiable person. I really enjoyed the fruit tasting part at the local market and experiencing the local transportation system. The Salon Malaga was a cool experience too and i enjoyed seeing the sculptures in Botero Square, I felt safe at all times and thoroughly enjoyed this overview of the city. We took this tour with Alejandro in early April 2022. Alejandro is a very knowledgeable and personable host for this experience, and he kept up a running commentary about the background and history of everything we saw. I especially appreciated his insights into the conditions of life in the famous Comuna13 neighborhood. This is a poor and periodically dangerous area made famous by its mural and music art and by its association with Pablo Escobar. The tourist boom here has benefited the barrio unevenly, while the costs of crowding, traffic, etc are borne by all who live there. I feel like he helped us understand the place better, get under the surface a little, and also be better guests and not treat the place like a zoo. Really enjoyed the day and can’t recommend the tour enough. I also am very impressed with Alejandro specifically. He was great company all day long, and a the end of the tour he gave us his WhatsApp info and invited us to ping him with any other questions we had while in Colombia. We took him up on that a few days later and he came through for us when he didn’t have to. Good, professional guy.

Really enjoyed this tour. Very interesting and informative. Andres is relaxed yet professional and always happy to answer questions. He has a good knowledge of recent Colombian history and empathised with the people we came across during the tour. His English is excellent and private transportation was very comfortable. I highly recommend this tour. Alejandro, the guide was fantastic. He is knowledgeable, kind, and funny. He tailored the tour to what I was most interested in and took the time to make sure that all of my questions were answered. His English is fluent and we had no trouble communicating. We started at the Memory House Museum which was emotional, but it helped put the rest of the tour into the context of the history of Medellin and Colombia. After that, the rest of the tour was lighter and a lot of fun. Alejandro also made sure that we were safe at all times. This included letting me know when to pay closer attention in crowds and taking covid precautions.

We loved our city tour with Andres! Andres spoke great English, and has a depth of knowledge and personal history to share with you about Medellín. He was very punctual and his car was clean and comfortable. The tour is organized in a great way to show you the maximum possible of the city. We enjoyed taking public transit, walking around different neighborhoods, and learning about many significant buildings. I really enjoyed our city tour. Andres was out of town so we had Oscar. We toured a museum that highlighted the people’s impacted by the violence. We went to Boston Park and saw the tree of life which was one of my favorites parts of the tour. You will need to take the tour to get the story. 😀. We went on the metro cable which provided great views of both the residences and the city. Lastly we went to the statue park and the museum of art shop, which is a cant miss. The communication was great and they even arranged to pick us up at a mall. I highly recommend this tour company and will book with them on my return trip in March.

The guide (Andres) picked us up at our hotel and dropped us back afterwards. In between was 4 and half hours of tour on foot, in vehicle, in trams and cable cars covering much of the interesting parts of Medellin. Well worth doing if you only have a couple of days in the city

Our bespoke city tour with Andres has been one of the best city tours and experiences we had in Medellin. Not only was Andres accommodating (4 adults and 3 kids in total) with our kids and very patient, he was also very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. His knowledge on Medellin's and Antioquia's history is amazing. He interacted with the local community in comuna 13 and treated us to local snacks. We contacted Andres with very little notice, and he managed to accommodate us on an afternoon tour. Before we started, he went over the options and tailored the tour to our particular tastes. We saw so much of the wonderful city, with great information being provided to us. Andres knows so much of the recent, and not so recent history of Medellin and the different neighborhoods. We particularly liked the interactions with local vendors, offering us delicous snacks and even a stop as a barista! He is obviously very popular with the people he knows from his tours and with good reason. We thoroughly enjoyed our day, and would have recommend him and his company to anyway that wants an personal tour with a wonderful guide.

I am Colombian from Cali and I lived in Medellin for a semester, I rarely recommend any tours to my friends and family when they visit Medellín because usually they are all the same and as a local they just don’t seem that appealing to me but this one was different. I went with my American family on this tour and this was their first time in Medellin and they absolutely loved it as did I, the tour was full of amazing new experiences even for me. We had one person on a wheelchair and Andrés had no problem designing a tour that was accesible for her, his translation was perfect (something hard to find) the information, history and data he gives allows foreigners to really have an insight about Medellín and it’s culture. Without any doubt I’d absolutely do a tour with Andrés again and from now on I finally have a company that I can recommend to anyone who visits Medellín.

Lo mejor es tomar un freetour, que luego del recorrido se da una propina. Los muchachos contaban la historia cómo un cuento muy lindo y sumamente carismáticos los guías con amor por lo que hacen. Se encuentran en La salido del metro Alpujarra y recorren parte del casco histórico ahí con plaza de Botero. Vale la pena. Creo que la gente en Medellín es muy amables y cuentan la historia con mucho corazon
