We actually hired this firm to pick us up from our hotel in downtown San Jose and drive us to our resort in La Fortuna as well as the reverse trip one week later. We couldn't be happier with Ronnie, our driver. Ronnie is so much more than a driver -he's an experienced tour guide and we received the full benefit of his knowledge. He was an interesting and entertaining companion throughout the 3-hour drive each way, sharing his stories and the history of Costa Rica. We simply wouldn't have learned as much or had as rich a visit to this country had we rented a car on our own. Ronnie also went out of his way to show us attractions on the route, including a beautiful waterfall. You cannot go wrong with this company or this driver.We stayed in La Fortuna for the month of September and used these guys for both transfers to/from SJO. Both Gerald and Ronnie were delightful to ride with. They were friendly and informative. Both spoke very good english, but they didn't mind helping me with my spanish. Definitely recommend.

Our tour guide, Osvaldo, was prompt and organized. He gave us a tour of wonderful vistas, informed us of local culture, was great at spotting birds and sloth for us, recommended great activities and lodging, and vas very responsive to our needs. Additionally, he helped us out of a pickle we were in. There was a mixup with our lodging and Ovi helped us find replacement lodging for several days on very short notice during peak tourist season. He speaks excellent English and because of his awesome curiosity and willingness to learn I wouldn’t be surprised if during his 25 years of experience he had picked up other languages. I highly recommend this shuttle service.
