I was notified by the vendor, Carmel Car Service/Carmel Airport Transfer working through Viator, less than five hours before the scheduled transfer that this was cancelled due to a broken down vehicle (a common excuse looking at earlier reviews). Luckily saw the message between flights....

I was notified by the vendor, Carmel Car Service/Carmel Airport Transfer working through Viator, less than five hours before the scheduled transfer that this was cancelled due to a broken down vehicle (a common excuse looking at earlier reviews). Luckily saw the message between flights. Neither Viator nor the vendor were willing to help organise an alternative. On the side of Viator they insisted initially that the booking was still going ahead. I had to make costly international phone calls to do Viator's admin on their behalf. I will never book an airport transfer through Viator again.Nobody showed up, I called and they said nobody was available, no ride I took a taxi, not very reliable, would not recommend

I am sooooo disappointed in this company. I had kept in contact with them several times throughout the week prior to pick up. I received an email 71 minutes before I landed on kauai to please contact them. I had not checked my email and arrived in kauai to later find out that they had no one available to pick us up. This company is a joke and I would not trust them. Don't expect your trip to go as planned if you use this company-stay away.You waited until the day of my reservation to cancel it as I was boarding my flight with 12 people. We were stranded at the airport when we arrived for hours. The dispatcher was dismissive and rude as can be. A miserable experience and horrible start to our vacation.

Called the vendor who looked it up and said they over booked and had no cars to pick us up. Very dissatisfied and vendor should be removed as an option on viator.
