We used Sorrento Car Tours for a private trip along the Amalfi coast for a birthday celebration. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. We discussed our trip in advance with Roberto, via email, and all the correspondence was swift with helpful advice and information included. On the day itself, our driver Luca was waiting at our hotel as arranged and he was extremely helpful, friendly and professional throughout. We even had the opportunity to change the itinerary on the day to avoid the hottest temperatures and the biggest crowds. The highlight for me was Ravello, but the entire day was amazing. I would certainly recommend Sorrento Car Tours: we were so impressed that we used them again for a transfer a few days later and they were just as reliable then too.dinalynnt68

"Roberto is everything" "We miss Roberto" These are the comments I heard from my adult children when we left the Sorrento area and traveled to Rome. We visited Italy in March, and I've been trying to find the perfect words for this review since. Roberto handled our airport, train, and boat transfers (they were complex because we were arriving from different locations and times and experienced delays). He arranged and adapted to everything seamlessly and we were always greeted with a smile. He also arranged private tours and was our driver for tours of Herculaneum and Pompeii, and a custom Amalfi coast tour as well. My husband arranged this all with him in advance via email and he was incredibly responsive and helped to create the perfect itinerary. Roberto is an expert driver, respectful of his passengers. The vehicle was immaculate and there was a water bottle waiting for each of us. He helped us communicate arrangements with our air bnb host, and handled dinner reservations for us at the amazing Zi Ntonio restaurant in Sorrento. If you are looking for a driver or private tour guide in Sorrento, you found him. We miss you Roberto, and can't wait to see you again next time we visit Italy!karenbG1998UT

I highly recommend Roberto and Sorrento Car Tours. Roberto picked us up from the train station in Naples and arranged a private tour of Pompeii and fabulous winery lunch on our way to Sorrento. Roberto was prompt, and a safe driver. He gave us great suggestions on where to eat in Sorrento and even helped with reservations. Our Driver was Roberto and we hired him to bring us from Naples to Sorrento, to drive us on an all day tour of the Amalfi Coast and to bring us back to Naples for our flight. He was the epitome of professionalism and class. His driving was superb and he was a delight to speak with during our drives. He is very friendly and outgoing without being chatty. My children suffered from motion sickness during our winding Amalfi drive but he was wonderful and reassuring with them and he made them feel better.
