The trip was canceled the day before it was supposed to happen because I was the only person on the list to go. Yes, viator did apologize. Yes. Viator did refund my money. What they failed to recognize is that some people have to travel very long distances in order to take these tours. For most people, it’s a chance of a lifetime that will never come again. That is why I’m not happy. Next time, don’t offer the trip if you don’t have enough people in advance instead of waiting to see if people turn up.

I really enjoyed the trip to Prague. Our guide Veronica was very knowledgeable, which allowed me to see things I was interested in which were outside the normal tour. She explained many monuments in great detail and allowed us to stop and take photos. It was a very enjoyable trip.

Better to spend the night if at all possible. Prague was very crowded with day trippers and would be much more magical at night.

Overall the tour was too rushed!! Whipped through the city and ran from court yard to court yard . This isn't an efficient tour with no time to see any of the sites and enjoy some of the art. This "drive by" tour is not value for money .don't recommend this to anyone.

According to the guide, this tour is not for people with limited mobility. The guide and the bus driver are unable or unwilling to help disabled people to enjoy this tour.

Our bus guide Sylvia was more interested in speaking to the bus driver instead pointing out the landmarks and what they meant as well as their history. When we got to Prague, our guide Jan hurriedly ran through the city and was often unintelligible. He seemed more interested in getting to the end of the tour rather than educating the tourists to what they were seeing and why it was important. Everything he described was “charming and magnificent”.

Whilst Prague itself was a very nice place to visit and the tour guide did point out the key places, unfortunately I cannot recommend this trip due to the length of time. It took us approximately 4.5 hours to get to Prague and we only spent about 3-3.5 hours in Prague itself then obviously 4.5 hours back. If you want to visit just to say you've been to Prague and stick that pin on the world map in your bedroom then maybe I could say it's a good tour to do but if you wanted to see it in detail, you would be better off staying the night there.

Good driving from Vienna and back. Vienna guide was very clear. Once we got to Prague, it was a 'tornado' experience. One either takes photos and miss out on commentary at next stop by local guide or stay with the guide and not take photos. We did have an hour at the end to ourselves though. I was very disappointed that this tour did NOT provide a dropoff service. It is the ONLY Viator tour I've been on ( various South African tours, Budapest tour and various Croatian tours) that does not pick up and drop off customers. This information was conveyed to me on the morning of my tour. I picked a Viator tour to Prague as I am a single female traveller wanting to feel safe in a foreign country. I felt let down. Otherwise, this is a good tour to get a feel for a place.

The sightseeing tour to Prague from Vienna through this company was terrible from the beginning to the end. First off, people haphazardly got on the bus with no one checking that they were on the correct bus-- and as it turned out, several people were not so we had to stop to let them off. Secondly, your tour says clearly it is not appropriate for people who have walking problems, yet we had someone who could not keep up on our tour and walked with a cane and as a result, it ruined it for the rest of us. We were told we would stop for a short break for the driver in the morning and in the afternoon. In the morning, we were told to grab a short snack because we would be walking for 1.5 hours nonstop. So I grabbed a light snack. Upon arrival in Prague, our tour consisted of driving past places quickly and being told what they were-- we did the Vienna Hop On Hop Off buses earlier in the week and it was great because the driver paused to let us take photos-- but there was no opportunity to take photos on the Prague tour as it was so fast. Even worse was that the driver was trying to tell everything in Spanish and English so often we were past the building before he got around to telling us about what we were supposed to see. We were told to meet at the horse in front of the museum but they drove by so fast and because it was behind construction that no horse was even visible. When we got to Prague, we had almost no free time and were not even allowed to stop and take photos except at designated spots for 20 seconds. So, in the end, we were not able to appreciate what we did see. We ended up delayed on even beginning the tour because of the lady with the cane. We were given less than an hour of free time to explore-- but during that free time we also had to make our way to the horse statue which was a good 20-30 minutes away from where the shops were. We also had to make our way back to the shops and restaurants. So in short, we had about 20 minutes to buy anything we wanted/ needed and if there were lines in places, forget it. When we returned to the bus, we had not eaten-- again 20 minutes free time -- and thought we were going to stop again so driver could rest and we could grab something to eat. It was 5.5 hours in the bus on the way back to Vienna. We stopped at a closed restaurant and switched drivers but we were not allowed off of the bus. This is unacceptable. The tour guide should have either allowed us enough time to eat, told us to grab something to eat since we weren't stopping or stop so we could grab something to eat. In short, this was an entire day wasted because I didn't feel like I was able to really see or appreciate Prague and then I paid to be uncomfortable for hours on end, too.

Took this trip on the 4th of July. We got lucky and had a smaller shuttle. Jose our Driver was funny, charming and well versed in his history. It is a long ride but well worth it to see this picture perfect city.

Would not recommend this tour from Vienna. Although the tour bus if very comfortable, it is a VERY long drive leaving very little time to spend in Prague. The tour was rushed and every time I turned around to take a quick photo, the guide had already walked off. I have been to Prague in the past and absolutely loved the city. This tour was very stressful and I did not feel like I was able to experience the city at all. The entire tour, my thoughts were focused on how we were possibly going to catch up with our tour guide while still being able to take some photos. This tour would be much more effective if perhaps the guide focused on just the St. Charles Bridge and Old Town. Walking from Prague Castle took way too much time and we did not even get to see the interior. Also, I think the meet up point at Wenceslas square was way too far. Finally, I was disappointed that we stopped at Excalibur restaurant/an outlet shopping mall for an hour on the way back. We would have rather arrived in Vienna earlier and bought our own dinner. In summary, this tour is too long, poorly organized, and hectic to experience Prague. Probably one of the worst tours I have taken. If you are looking for a day trip from Vienna, I would recommend the Melk Abbey and Danube Valley tour instead - relaxing cruise down the Danube, very well organized, and adequate time to explore the towns.

It is a good way for you to get a glimpse if Prague, but not enough free time. I understand that everything is on a schedule, but I would have rather had more free time instead of the tour guide treating us like kids and making us listen to her talk about the Cathedral for an hour. However, Prague is a wonderful city and this tour does give you a taste of it.

Our guide from Munich was great. Prague is a beautiful city! The local guide did not provide much detail about the local culture or history. Getting to do this trip in a day from Vienna worked perfectly for our family!

The bus which we traveled on was extremely uncomfortable -- we felt beat to death by the time we returned to Vienna. There was nothing luxury about our coach. Also, we could not understand/hear our guides. They were speaking in English and Spanish and we could not distinguish one language from another.

Although it was a long trip, around 3.5 hours from Vienna, the visit is really worth, specially the downtown, the church and Charles Bridge. Their ice cream is great. It is recommended to visit Prague for at least 2 days to walk around and explore it.
The guide from Vienna was not good at all. At many times she was cruel and aggressive. Similarly, the local guide in Prague was not good at all. The only stop from Vienna was in Prague in a big restaurant offering good quality food and not expensive. The employees do not speak English.

Prague is my favorite city. The cobblestone streets are a work of art in themselves. This was a must do day trip. The guide was very informative and had some time on our own to grab some food. Note: you could pay in euros, but any change was in their money.
