Strong and independent, Amalfi is one of the four Maritime Republics and the only one that once minted its own currency, the Tarì. The spearhead of the Amalfi coast has deep historical roots and origins wrapped in legend, according to which the town bears the name of the nymph loved by Hercules and buried here at the behest of the gods. The Duomo rises majestically in the center of the square and preserves within its walls the essence of the different eras and cultures that have transformed it, the contrast between the baroque interior and the exterior in perfect Arab-Norman style is tangible proof of this.

This private tour was so incredible thanks to Salvatore and the beautiful sights of Positano, Amalfi, and Rovello. Salvatore was punctual, helpful, funny, and informative from beginning to end. He also did an excellent job driving and making sure we got to our destination safely and quickly. For all the winding roads and steep slopes in this drive, his professional handling filled us with confidence. The sights such as Rovello and Amalfi coast are beautiful, and at the end, when heading back to Naples Salvatore gave us the best panoramic view on the other side of the mountains. This tour is incredible and me and my family really enjoyed our private trip. Thanks so much, we would absolutely do it again!!Excellent personalised tour and will remember it forever! Excellent personalised tour and will remember it forever! We dipped our toes in the mediterranean, catching some sun after eating lemon pasta for lunch. A little while later we had coffee and dessert in the milky mountains surrounded by low lying clouds and imaging the creative culture that has taken place in those hills for centuries! After chaotic Naples, it was a refreshing and much needed change of scenery along the Amalfi Coast and made the trip to Naples so worthwhile. The coastline is beautiful and the way of life is intriguing. We had a decent amount of time to explore the 3 towns and because we were in a luxurious 8 person people carrier, and not a minibus or coach, it was a much nicer experience. Our diver, Salvatore, was super friendly, funny and informative. He really made the trip a thoroughly enjoyable experience, he's so full of life, we felt we made a passing friend by the end of the day. And my god, his driving skills are impressive, those roads are something else! Highly recommend this tour, it was excellent value for money for the quality of transport and service, and a great taste of what the Amalfi coast has to offer for future trips to the area. What a fantastic day we just had touring the Amalfi coast. What a fantastic day we just had touring the Amalfi coast. Anna, our guide, and Antonio, our driver, were the perfect hosts for a wonderful day. My wife & I were picked up at our hotel in Naples at 8:30am. We had a big Mercedes mini-van big enough for a larger group, but still perfectly comfortable enough for the 2 of us. Anna gave us plenty of information and stories about the area, including about Vesuvius which we passed by on our way to the coast. We had mentioned that we were interested in ceramics, so at our first stop in Positano, Antonio showed us to his favourite store. The designs were beautiful, so we were happy to buy there. One hour stop in Positano, then on to Amalfi. We had also said we were interested in seeing the coast from a boat, and we wanted to see the Emerald Grotto. So they recommended a short ferry round trip from Amalfi, and Anna helped us buy the tickets. It was supposed to take 75 minutes, but there was a big tour group at the grotto, so it ended up taking much longer. No problem for Anna and Antonio who just gave us their contact details to message them when we needed. We then went on to Ravello, and took Anna's advice about a beautiful villa to visit with stunning views down to the coast. On the way back to Napoli, we talked football! We also hadn't firmed up our plans for the next day, so Anna & Antonio offered good advice to us about how best to handle, and sorted our transportation for us. We arrived back at the hotel around 6:30pm, probably an hour or 2 later than we should have, due to the delay at the grotto, but absolutely no problem for Anna & Antonio. They were so flexible and helpful the whole day. Great trip, and can't thank our 2 guides enough. Definitely want to return!Amazing tour guide Salvatore guided us through the scenic and picturesque Amalfi coastline! Nice and long stops between the destinations for pictures!
Amazing tour guide Salvatore guided us through the scenic and picturesque Amalfi coastline! Nice and long stops between the destinations for pictures! The weather was really bad today but despite that, Lucca made the day fun and we stopped at all really cool stops to see Amalfi, positano and Ravello. He really knows Amalfi coast well and if I have friends and family visit again, I’d love him to be our tour guide/driver again 😀

This trip was absolutely perfect. We got to spend time in 3 wonderful places along the Amalfi coast. We were allowed to have free time in each of the places once we got there which I thought was one of the greatest things about this tour. In the car, our amazing tour guide Luca gave us background on various places and allowed us to stop multiple times for scenic pictures. I highly recommend this tour and tour guide Luca. We got to see so many things just in 8 hours. Truly one of my favorite days.
