The tour guide will show in a 2 hours walking tour the most fascinating places like the Forum, Thermal Baths, Lupanare burnt by volcanic ashes and lapilli during the eruption in 79 A.D. You have the opportunity to discover the everyday life of the Imperial age and imagine the panic of the people before the city was so disastrously buried.

Stop At: Sorrento Coast, Sorrento Coast, Province of Naples, Campania
It will be possible to admire during the way the suggestive medieval Castle from which the name of the famous town Castellammare di Stabia comes, the small and enchanting beaches of Vico Equense and Seiano and the typical mediterranean vegetation full of lemon and orange trees. Stop at the panoramic viewpoint in Meta di Sorrento to look up to the wonderful sight of the bay overlooking the sea.

Brief visit of the town (about one hour). The guide will show you the most renowned places walking throught the suggestives narrow streets full of stores and little workshops, as far as one of the most scenic place of Sorrento: the so-called Villa Comunale from where is possible to admire the beauties of the golf as far as Punta Campanella and Capri Island and immortalize the breathtaking scenary.

One of the best tours I've had in Italy. Despite the heat and members of our tour group disappearing around Pompeii every so often, our tour guide kept her cool albeit sometimes better than others and managed to complete the tour on time without us having to rush or skip out on seeing anything...
One of the best tours I've had in Italy. Despite the heat and members of our tour group disappearing around Pompeii every so often, our tour guide kept her cool albeit sometimes better than others and managed to complete the tour on time without us having to rush or skip out on seeing anything. The one bit of advice I have is about the Sorrento bit: the roads are small, windy mountain roads so if you have a ship or train to catch, add an extra hour to the ETA to allow for the slowness with which your brilliant bus driver can navigate the bus through those roads. truly brilliant - I have no idea how he managed to maneuver a 20-something seater bus along those roads!
Me and my partner enjoyed the tour a lot! The guide in Pompeii was really good, the place was a bit crowded but expected. After lunch the group was split and we took a small van to head to Sorrento, that was a nightmare as the air con wasn't working! Sorrento is amazing! The place is stunning ...

The place is stunning and you have free time over there to explore a bit but we thought a bit of more time in Sorrento would be nice. Overall nice tour!

We had a very knowledgeable guide for Pompeii. It was very interesting, well paced and a good sized group. Afterwards, we enjoyed pizza and beer at a nearby resturant. The pizza was perhaps my least favorite of the trip but we were with good company and new friends made during the excursion. A...
We had a very knowledgeable guide for Pompeii. It was very interesting, well paced and a good sized group. Afterwards, we enjoyed pizza and beer at a nearby resturant. The pizza was perhaps my least favorite of the trip but we were with good company and new friends made during the excursion. A little more time in the market area would have been nice. Only four of us continued on to Sorento - home of limoncello. It was a fun winding road ride and the driver stopped for some photo ops. Had the best lemoncello ever and again would have loved to have had more time. So much to see , so much to enjoy just never enough time to absorb it all.
