We booked a 3 hour tour with Askotours and I can't rate them highly enough. Our archeological guide, Paola Vitiello was not only extremely knowledgeable but she had excellent English . She had studied under one of the professors invovled in the excavation and described in detail the background...

I would certainly recommend that you stay for 3 hours as there is so much to see. Definitely worth having a personal guided tour. I felt we really got under the skkn of the place.Tonisan9

My 6 year old son is obsessed with Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius, so we booked this tour with an archeologist. It did not disappoint. Antonio was wonderful with him, and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
