100% recommend! Sanja was a fantastic guide throughout, and the journeys to and from the Park were comfortable in George’s new 9 seat minivan with A/C. The communication before and during was fantastic from the agency (Mia was very helpful on WhatsApp, as was Sanja). We had the best trip possible, starting at entrance 2, taking the 15 minute bus to the top lakes and walking downwards, with plenty of flexibility in terms of pacing - Sanja was very patient with all the photo taking, and offered to take them of each group. It was exactly 8km in the end with 84m of vertical climb, almost entirely via some switchbacks at the end to get the best views of the day. We were also extremely fortunate with how quiet the park was in early/mid April, and it was around 10-12 degrees cooler than Split - definitely follow the advice to take some long sleeves and a warm layer or two! A bit of a distance from Split but well worth the visit. Our tour guide was fabulous, very knowledgeable and there if we needed anything. The lakes and waterfalls were spectacular and a must if travelling to Croatia.

You cannot go to Croatia without going to Plitvice Lakes. Words cannot describe how breathtakingly beautiful it is there. We spent most of the day there and you really don't want to leave. The waterfalls and emerald green lakes are stunning. Be ready for a good walk because there is a lot of it but so worth it.

The only reason we hesitated to book this trip is due to the long bus ride from Split to get there and back.  Fortunately, they break it up with a stop about half-way in both direction that lets you get off the bus and stretch your legs.  That said, I did not want to leave Croatia without coming here and the place does not disappoint.  When you come, expect about 9km of walking between the lakes and the falls but for the most part it is not really difficult.  The sights at the park are breathtaking and too good for me to attempt to describe.  You’ve seen the photos.  The pace of the day is great as well.  You do not feel at all like you are rushing through the day but also you are not getting done so fast that you stand around between stops and legs of hike.  Whether guided or unguided, you are given general time frames up front and then you just go.  Our guide for the day, Klara, was very engaging and took time to speak with all the guests throughout the day.  Her delivery is good and the material interesting.  Most of her discussion was on the bus while you are traveling so it gives you ample time to enjoy the park and all of its amazing sites and photo spots without the distraction of constant discussion.

The Plitvice Lakes, and waterfalls were stunning. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and led a well-paced tour of the upper and lower falls. He took time to point out the vantage points, explaining their formation, and evolution. Highly recommended!

Had a fantastic time on the tour and Klara was a legend - very knowledgeable, very friendly, and great to chat with along the way. She also provided some great information about places to eat in Split depending on your needs and other great things to do and see. The lakes are definitely worth a visit if you have a day to spare! Not that arduous of a walk and you'll get to see some great sights.

This was a fantastic tour - highly recommend. Terrific guide and not as crazy busy as during summer! The walk and the falls are just wonderfull. This was a real highlight.

I’m happy to have Klara as our guide, she gives clear instructions and tells you stories about Croatia. Don’t be frightened by the bus ride, there’s stop in the middle where you could have coffee and toilet break. Thank you Klara for the amazing day!
