Lots of places to see and explore in a short amount of time. This is a fast-paced tour with stops in every attraction for not more than 30 minutes, which is good and more than enough. If you are doing the afternoon trip, make sure you eat lunch or bring snacks as they are not many options until the end when you go to the market. The gems and jewellery experience was the only downside as the girls are too pushy to sell you something. Other than that, this was an amazing trip to see all in half a day.

Even though it was a half day experience, it seemed like a full day. So happy we got to experience so many places!

3 stops were only for product presentation and almost no background information provided - the coffee break was a stop at a jewelry - the cashew factory was only a visit of the store - the bee hive had a small tour with a short explanation of different bees, but 2/3 of the tour was only product presentation these stops were really nice, however if you don't want to do shopping stops I recommend to take a different tour - big buddha (a 45 m buddha statue on a hill) - old pucket town (old city center with a lot of shops and cafès - temple - hill spot to watch the sundown (very beautiful)

I could not agree more with a below review: 'with all the 4 and 5 bullet ratings and being recommended by TripAdvisor as a bestseller, we thought we couldn’t go wrong with this tour'. We chose to do the morning tour, we received a message at 2.30pm the day before the tour with our pick up time (very short notice). However they were still 20mins late to pick us up. Our tour guides name was Eve and I must admit she was absolutely lovely. Although she sat in the passenger seat using her phone (Facebook etc) for majority of the travels instead of guiding us, explaining where we were or pointing out landmarks. Once the driver had finished picking up passengers, Eve told us what the itinerary was going to be for the day. Which was very different to the one on TripAdvisor. We made our first stop, which was a viewpoint that wasn't listed on TripAdvisor, we thought 'this is great, we're getting more than we paid for' and quickly moved along to the next stop - Kata beach view point, where we only had 20mins instead of 30. We were then VERY disappointed with the next stop as we had absolute no idea that we would be stopping to look at a baby elephant, chained up by is neck and it's foot in a 1.5sm area. Viewing or supporting the mistreatment of animals in Thailand is something we wanted to avoid on our holiday and I was so disappointed when we stopped here. The next three stops were Promthep Cape (not listed on TripAdvisor) Chaithararam Temple and Big Buddha. We again, only had roughly 20mins instead of 30 at each stop and we all felt very rushed because Eve was worried that she would be late for her next job at 1pm. Yet the driver and Eve still found the time to stop and buy themselves lunch between our destinations. I agree with the review below, it states all entrance fees of the attractions are included and that is correct, because they’re all free anyway. It says you get a bottle of water which is also correct, although it's a very small bottle and you don’t get until 3hrs hours into the tour. . The next three stops of the tour are a tourist trap. The cashew nut factory, where we only had 10 and it was only to buy cashews. The bee farm, where you see no bee's but only honey to buy and also only had 10mins and worst of all was the “coffee break” where you are taken to a large shopping facility and almost forced to buy very expensive jewellery, tea or souvenirs (walking through this was horrible and I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life) funnily enough we were told that we would have 30-45mins here and I never even got my coffee or a break. From here we went to Phuket Old Town to see the Sino-Portuguese and here we actually did receive some very interesting information about the history of Phuket. But we asked to end our tour here as I didn't not want to waste any more time travelling in this van. My suggestion, find a private driver and tell him which stops you want to got to for the same price!!

Love the idea for the tour because it covers most places near Phuket town. If you only have limited time this half day tour will definitely worth it.

This tour was a mess, they start taking us to 3 factory shops and we lost so much time on them. Also seeing a baby elephant that was not good at all. Too much time lost on silly things we did not have time left for the important stops like Phuket all town. Not recomendable at all

If you are looking for your classic tourist view of Phuket I would highly recommend this tour. You get to go to different locations around Phuket (which means a fair bit of driving) but it was interesting to see the streets. The tour guide was very friendly and helpful.

The tour was good value for the money, however it should have more information shared, better english speaking and pronunciation. The guide was fun but to rate 5 stars I would need have all mentioned things better.

With all the 4 and 5 bullet ratings and being recommended by TripAdvisor as a bestseller, we thought we couldn’t go wrong with this tour. Our hotel was just north of Phuket airport so a bit out of the way, meaning we had to pay a little extra for pickup which was fine. Our driver was early (before 11:30 for the 13:00 tour), but hey, with most tours you end up waiting so this was a good start. After 2.5 hours in the van, picking up people from hotels, dropping some off again at other places (5 stops total) the tour hadn’t even started! The tour guide got on board (we had to ask if he was the tour guide, because he didn’t have us any clue until about another half an hour later when we finally made our way to the first stop. The guy named himself James (Bond) and was useless as a tour guide. He was laying low in the passenger seat and upon approaching each stop he would hold op a pocket size folder with stamp-size pictures of what we were going to visit (none of the group could make out what he was saying, let alone see the tiny picture). That was all he did... while disappearing at soms stops to get back on at another. So this could be bad luck on still a great tour but it wasn’t. It seems a good deal at first. It is relatively cheap and it states all entrance fees of the attractions are included. That is correct, because they’re all free. It says you get a bottle of water. Also correct, although you don’t get until hours into the tour. After 2.5 hrs, James Bond suggested we got out of the van during the pickup of other guests to buy ourselves some water, and we did. We had just about finished those by the time he came up with small water bottles. Almost every stop of the tour is a tourist trap. The cashew nut factory (we had 10 minutes to spend there, no information given at all), the bee farm, even the “coffee break” were nothing more than attempts to get us to buy nuts, honey and jewelry. The good news: if you look at what we payed by the hour we had an excellent deal. The tour is to last for 5 hours. We left our hotel at 11:30 and were back by 21:30. While our hotel was a bit further from Phuket Central, allow 1 hour each way, that still means a heck of a long day. Especially considered that every stop was much shorter than advertised, with no info whatsoever just “go out” and “get back”. TripAdvisor should really reconsider recommending tours like this without proper checks, and we really wonder how this tour company could get so many positive reviews while performing so poorly. Phuket Shanti Travel scored below par. Way below par. Will opt for more expensive options through GetYourGuide or elsewhere next time.

This tour takes you to about 7 different locations throughout the island. Some off the beaten path type places that I didn’t even think about visiting. It was so worth it and the tour guide was very energetic and friendly!!

High up on the hill top, great views free to visit Big Buddha, dress conservative although sarongs are lent out for the visit. Wonderful views, great history with shops and places to prey. Large gong to try to hum. Great visit.

Pickup was on time, tour guide spoke fairly good English, and the stops gave us ample time to explore the location
