Tour Information

  • We offer you a well balanced round trip, starting from Bucharest, with a little bit of everything included: breathtaking scenery, fairytale castles, amazing ruins, historical places, monuments and, as much as possible, interaction with the locals.

Book this tour if you want to learn what, when, where, why and how about Romania.

We will show you all the must-see attractions, but our speciality are the many sights most other tour operators don't include in their set route.

Please note: We don't do shared tours, we only do private tours. If you'd like to travel together with a bunch of strangers, each one with his own agenda, pace and his good or bad habits, there are plenty of other travel agents out there happy to accommodate you.

Anyway, a private tour doesn't necessarily mean an expensive tour. Please take a moment to review our prices. You'll find private tours at the price of a shared tour or cheaper!

Early in the morning meet your tour guide/driver in front of your centrally located hotel/accommodation in Bucharest. Start the day with a short drive (120 km/75 mi; 2 - 2 and 1/2 hours) from Bucharest to Sinaia, taking in beautiful views of the Carpathian Mountains and their foothills.

This short but enjoyable drive is a good opportunity to get acquainted with Romanian history and learn a few basic things about the places we are going to visit during the day.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Peles Castle, Str. Pelesului 2, Sinaia 106100 Romania

Mountains, castles and legends! - the perfect combination for a full day out!

At the beginning of this day tour, after the short drive from Bucharest, you'll explore a majestic palace, set amongst landscapes that will take your breath away: Peles Palace in Sinaia, the former summer residence of the Romanian Royal family. One of the most innovative, modern and beautiful residences of an European Royal family at the end of the 19th century, Peles Palace still has the power to astonish the thousands of tourists who visit the site every day.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Bucegi Mountains, Main Steet Bucegi Mountains, Sinaia 106100 Romania

Stop At: Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle), Str. General Traian Mosoiu nr. 24, Bran 507025 Romania

After lunch, you'll have a different experience, the chance to visit a medieval castle, maybe the most renowned castle in Romania: Dracula's Castle, featuring towering spires, thick stone walls and a dramatic setting atop a 60 meters high rock in the village of Bran.

Unlike palaces, which were built for enjoyment, the castles were built for strength and protection. Their main purpose was to withhold enemy attacks and keep their occupants safe. And Bran Castle is one of the best examples.
