This is a must see experience. Our guide (Jimmy) was great. I learned so much. Our guide gave us some history and allowed us to explore. It was great to see punch bowl and the Kings Palace too.
Great communication from company. Guide (Tom) was very informative and interesting. Easy booking.
There are many longer options this one was for a total of approximately 3 to 4 hours and unless you really want to delve into the history this is probably adequate where you see a 25 min movie then two exhibits which can each take about 45 minutes and give good background museums and then boat ride to the Arizona. Good deal for $40
A very special place treated and managed so very appropriately by the staff. Our tour guide was very informative.
This was a great tour to take in before boarding the cruise ship. Our driver, John G., was prompt picking us up at our hotel and even got us there in time for the 0800 flag raising (recommend that). He walked us into the park, explained what we were seeing, described the time line for our visit, and made recommendations for our visit. The park itself is beautiful and humbling. Seeing the Arizona in the water was a reminder of our history. Several visitors were from other countries and had no idea what Pearl Harbor means to us. The museums and film explained everything fully. The boat ride to the memorial was pleasant and just the right length. Visiting the memorial was a little crowded and not very long there - recommend going as early in the day as possible as we were told the crowds are larger throughout the day, especially after the cruise ship docks. We were lucky to visit the memorial since it had been closed until about 2 months ago. Our guide met us at the gate and drove everyone back to their hotels (the vehicle was a large van so not a huge group). John G. was remarkable in his knowledge of Oahu and pointed out many sights along the drive. I highly recommend using this company for a tour if they are all this efficient and professional.
For our family, this was our first trip to Hawaii and to visit Pearl Harbor. After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, my father enlisted in the Navy and served 2 years in Pearl Harbor. To visit this Memorial with children and grandchildren was an incredibly powerful and moving experience.
Mo picked up our family group of 10 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village bus station. In route to Pearl Harbor, he noted local points of interest and entertained us with some fun encounters as a professional guide and limo service driver. We appreciated the “no wait” service to enter the Memorial and he gave us a clear description of what to expect and where to meet him afterwards. We would highly recommend this tour and thank Mo for a beautiful day of remembering.
Eddie was my guide on the Pearl Harbor and City Excursion. It was a great experience. Our guide had a great deal of knowledge about the history of the Hawaiian culture and of the city. This is my second trip with our guide it is well worth the time to spend. Great Experience.
Excellent tour. Great visit to the Arizona and submarine. And also nice tour of Waikiki. Antonio is a knowledgeable guide.
What a experience! Hard to imagine the horror of Dec. 7, 1941, in such a beautiful place. So glad this tour is available to help us remember. Transportation to/from our cruise was great. There is a longer tour and I will take that if I go again. A few places we did not see in the time frame.
This tour was amazing and John the tour guide was very personable and informative. Exactly what we were looking for.
Good service from Royal Hawaii limosine. A boat ride to USS Arizona memorials, after 23 minutes of film
My plane arrived late and then I had challenges getting through customs but John the driver went out of his way to wait for me and to help me make the most of my long layover in Honolulu! I was impressed by their customer service and communication. The van was nicely air conditioned and they provided cold water which was really great! The actual tour and experience was very nice and John did a great job of explaining my options to me and helping me figure out the best way to take advantage of the time! Our van driver who picked us up for the city tour was very informative and a great navigator! I would highly recommend using these services!
The monument is quite moving, emotionally. There are oil slicks in the water, which is caused by the tanks still leaking all these years. Knowing that the men are still entombed in the ship makes this national park very solemn.
We were told where to meet (in front of the statue) between 8-8:20. We were there by 7:50 and sat right on the base of the statue. About 7:55 we received a call from our guide looking for us and she was parked around the corner. She sounded a little put out that we hadn't found her which we found a little puzzling given the earlier time and slightly different location.
The vehicle was extremely cramped for the 11 adults it transported and our guide didn't have a microphone so we in the second and third row couldn't hear her.
Pearl Harbor was great. Our guide got us our tickets and gave instructions where to meet another vehicle for transport back to ship.
We chose to take a taxi back into town.
Great tour! Tour guide was brilliant - very helpful and knowledgeable. Pick up was on time, vehicle was immaculate.
Eddie was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area and history. It was an enjoyable experience.
Our tour guide Tom was funny and informative and we really enjoyed this trip! We made some very pretty picture stops after visiting Pearl Harbor that we were not expecting!
A very informative and moving experience. Our Driver Eddie was excellent and his vehicle was very comfortable and immaculate.
Rainy day but Tall Tom the guide and driver made up for it. Very interesting and enjoyable tour. Learned a lot too.
I thought this was a total waste of money, especially with younger children (10,7,4). The museum part was good but very small and the 30 minute short film they show is excellent, however the very short boat ride which I was told would make up for the USS Arizona memorial being shut down certainly didn’t. Did not even get close to the memorial. And they hit you another $15 (after entry) to walk on the submarine. I wouldn’t bother going until the memorial reopens. Can not imagine spending the whole day here!
This trip was very average. Pick up from the hotel was easy and our driver was very friendly and informative. Was disappointed with Pearl Harbor as a whole. Couldn’t walk across the uss Arizona as the walking path has been needing repairs for over a year...the whole memorial is old and outdated, some information signs you couldn’t even read because they were so old and bleached by the sun. Such an important part of US and WW2 history, it could really be a more beautiful place to reflect and respect.
Our guide Eddie was great. He gave us the basic info needed to start our excursion and then we were on our own.
The transport company and driver was amazing! So easy and great. Driver was on time picking us up and dropping us off.. made the day so much easier.
Wonderful trip. Informative. The half day trip was perfect. Great way to see amazing history. Enjoyed the downtown tour also.
Purchased the tour with the expectation that we would be able to visit the Arizona Memorial. Was told once we boarded the boat and were instructed to sit down that we wouldn’t be able to go to the memorial because it was down for repairs! After travelling half way around the world at great expense without notification is a great disservice.
Great. Our plane was delayed and we barely made it to our place to be picked up. We thought we had missed them. We were out of the country and flew in----when we got to our hotel, our cell phone was working again and we found a note from them that our pickup time had been changed and we had missed them. Since our cell phone wasn't working in New Zealand and Australia, we did not get the message. When we phoned them ----- they came back to our hotel and picked us up and were very gracious and kind.....we know it was out of their way. WE loved the tour of Pearl Harbor and Honolulu. Everyone should do this----it touches your heart.
We had a great experience visiting Pearl Harbor. Our driver was very courteous, and took us around the city after the tour. Will definitely use this company again!
We were very upset that we had to pickup guests at the airport which was predictably difficult and added at least 45 minutes to our ride. Otherwise it was a well run excursion (basically just a ride to Pearl Harbor) on a nice vehicle with a professional driver.
My wife and I wished to make a last minute change to our itinerary and the staff at Royal Hawaiian Limousine we very helpful and were able to accommodate us! Thank you to them!
The Pearl Harbor memorial is a beautiful place and was a very moving experience!
The Pearl Harbor memorial is a beautiful place and was a moving experience.
This was great to see Pearl Harbor and honoring our veterans. We brought our teenage boys and they really enjoyed learning the history.
