Some information from the captain as we went along but not too much, just pointing out key points - in a variety of languages. We opted for the bus to see a beautiful beach on Paxos. Long day, but the boat has a cafe and drinks.I booked this trip through Viator and was given a 9am hotel pickup time. I booked this trip through Viator and was given a 9am hotel pickup time. The day before seemingly Viator email a time change to 0815 which we didn’t receive. Pachis came to the hotel but as we weren’t outside drove off without us. Their driver couldn’t be bothered to come into our hotel and ask for us. We were ready and could have gone. So we have missed the trip and lost money. So my simple advice - don’t use them. The transfer to and from the boat by Pachi Travel was excellent. The boat was overcrowded. The transfer to and from the boat by Pachi Travel was excellent. The boat was overcrowded. We already had a large group of passengers when we left Corfu and then stopped in Lefkemi where at least that many were added. The boat was clearly overcrowded, with passengers searching for seats. The time spent in transit was proportionally greater than time spent on shore. The combination of engine noise, loud music, and people trying to speak over it made for an uncomfortable and long journey.Don’t waste your money! What they don’t tell you is it’s 3 hours to get there, then an hour between each island and the long journey back- all for 2 hours on each island. It is a lot longer than the advertised 8 hour day- we left the hotel at 8.30am and got back at 7.30pm. The Saaris boat was Ol...
Don’t waste your money! What they don’t tell you is it’s 3 hours to get there, then an hour between each island and the long journey back- all for 2 hours on each island. It is a lot longer than the advertised 8 hour day- we left the hotel at 8.30am and got back at 7.30pm. The Saaris boat was Old and noisy, one couldn’t hear the announcements if sitting outside as the engine noises were too great, and she gave slightly different information out depending on what language she was speaking!!! Parga is sweet but just enough time to eat lunch or wander but not both, then at Paxos the boat parked about a mile from the town, so for the infirm it was impossible, and then just more shopping when you got there. A long day with little to see whilst on the boat and not much when you get there!!Nice trip. Staff friendly. Villages visited very beautiful and about the right amount of time spent in each place. Boat very busy however and they do cram you in. One of the better corfu tours. It’s not outstanding but nice….
