Paradise Island, a marine protectorate since 1986, is fringed by white sand and surrounded by a coral reef that appeals to divers and snorkelers alike. Although the island may seem deserted there’s always plenty of activity and visitors from around the world relaxing on the beach, enjoying the water, and snorkeling on the reef. The highlight was the quality snorkelling and the boat trip itself. The island is a place to relax but nothing to explore. The 7.30am start was unnecessary as we had to wait at the quayside for 1hour and 40 minutes before other passengers arrived. The company used were extremely helpful although there were constant interruptions of your day for photos to be bought at a later date. Out taxi driver was excellent!
