What to expect
We wish to introduce you to the wonderful world of Scuba Diving. Many of those who try it go on to become certified divers. Our experience begins with a (1 hour) pool session the morning or afternoon before the main activity in order to introduce you to the equipment, breathing underwater, complete a simple safety drill and receive some tips on how to move in the water. For those that may be a little more nervous than others, we find it the best way to produce a great experience.
The dive day in the open water will be two dives to a maximum of 12 metres on our local coral reefs. No promises about sightings of particular marine life, but a promise that you will see a lot of fish and coral.
The experience will be registered with PADI as your first steps to an Open Water Certificate whether with us or another PADI centre.

My son, Luke, recently learnt his PADI open water with David, one of two instructors, at Koh Chang divers. The other is Mike. They clearly have a passion about diving. David taught my son how to dive; not just obtain a PADI certificate. He enjoyed every minute. I went on a few fun dives. I hadn’t dived for quite a few years - David helped me with this. The dives were fabulous. I would thoroughly recommend Koh Chang divers. I hope we return there again. For myself this was my first time, I initially went to snorkel whilst my partner dived (padi). I didn’t want to slow down the dive. However Michael encouraged me to take the discovery day which was held by David. I have to say I am glad I did, what an experience. David was both patient, reassuring and guided me each step of the way. They only took a deposit whilst I tried in a pool to see if I liked it and the rest on the day of the dive. Very professional, Highly recommend this dive school.David and Michael were great, really helpful and gave some good advice on options for the next set of courses to take, to continue my dive experience. David and Michael were great, really helpful and gave some good advice on options for the next set of courses to take, to continue my dive experience. Nice small dive group, just me, my buddy and Michael our instructor, who explained everything clearly and led us through a nice set of dives. The equipment was all well maintained and they took extra precautions with cleaning, using dettol and UV light. I'd definitely recommend diving with Koh Chang Divers and hope to come back soon!I did my PADI Open Water with these guys in June. They don't skimp on dive and tuition time so it's great value - would definitely recommend!I have not been in the water for maybe eight years due to a long term injury and was eager to try diving again. I have not been in the water for maybe eight years due to a long term injury and was eager to try diving again. I went to another local dive company to enquire about diving but the reception was nowhere near as friendly as I encountered with this outfit. I explained my situation and had an extremely good level of service and was reassured to take up my old passion again. Fast forward a day or two, just done three dives with these lads and I am so grateful for their patience and support, had a very good experience and would recommend them. I don't think I've ever left a review for a dive school/company but these deserve it, 100%. I've done a lot of diving all over Thailand, this has been the best customer experience so far. Thanks again and big thanks to Mike for buddying up with me, I will be back.Huge thanks to David and his team for passing the AOWD course! Huge thanks to David and his team for passing the AOWD course! I didn 't have the big experience in diving in the past, but I really wanted to refresh my knowledge and take a new course. It was about a year and a half since the last dive. Also my English is not very good. I wrote to Who Chang divers, David offered to meet and discuss everything I worried about. It was very useful, because it is important in diving to feel trust to the instructor. David explained everything with simple phrases and repeated if it was necessary. We planned my dives. The organisation was excellent, good equipment, the mask did not flow, everything was in good condition. But the main thing is that David explained everything to do in as much detail as possible, then gave feedback. The refresh of my knowledge was free. As a result, I have a certificate AOWD and clear recommendations, what to pay attention to and what to practice in the future. Structurally and professionally. In addition, David is an amazing man with an interesting story. When I return to Ko Chang, I will address him.
