Overview
- Meet your Instructor tor at Playa Chica, Puerto del Carmen

- Instructor briefing and gearing up
- Start in shallow water and perform skills sessions, get relaxed and comfortable with breathing underwater
- The three course days are a combination of confined water training sessions and a total of four open water dives
- IMPORTANT: The course takes three days. The theory needs to be completed as self-study via PADI eLearning prior to course start (6-8 hours)

Always wanted to learn diving? Sign up for the world's most wanted entry-level course. Become a fully certified PADI Open Water Diver and experience four dives in the Atlantic Ocean of Lanzarote. Take the plunge and explore the planet from below the surface. You should be 10 years or older, and adequate swimmer and fit to dive. There is no prior experience required.
What will you learn?
Through Knowledge Development sessions (eLearning, 6-8 hours independent self -study) you will learn the basic principles and safety standards of scuba diving. Study five chapters of the Open Water Diver Course and complete the final exam via PADI eLearning prior to course start.
During the confined water sessions you will practice and master the required scuba diving skills in shallow water and get comfortable. In the four Open Water Dives you will use your previous learned skills and explore the underwater world.
You will be trained to dive with a certified buddy to a maximum depth of 18 metres.

- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Near public transportation
- Most travelers can participate
- Not wheelchair accessible
- You should be comfortable in the water
- Diving requires certain weather conditions. In the unlikely event the activity should be cancelled due to poor weather conditions, you will be offered an alternative date or full refund.
- Flying within 12-18 hours after diving is not recommended
- Minimum age is 10 years
- You have to be medically fit for diving. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions might prevent you from diving (no asthma, heart problems or other serious conditions).
- Face masks required for travelers in public areas
- Face masks required for guides in public areas
- Hand sanitizer available to travelers and staff
- Social distancing enforced throughout experience
- Regularly sanitized high-traffic areas
- Transportation vehicles regularly sanitized
- Guides required to regularly wash hands
- Contactless payments for gratuities and add-ons
- Our qualified staff uses Covid-19 certified cleaning products only and all equipment is cleaned and disinfected after each use. We strictly follow the health & safetey protocols as required by the spanish government.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 4 travelers
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking

Me lo he pasado fenomenal. El curso es de 3 dias por la mañana y aprendes todo para sacarte el titulo Open Water Diver. Todo el equipo muy majos y se nota que tiene mucha experiencia. Gery, Sandra y Chantal gracias por todo.

Hatten den Open Water Kurs mit Chantal, durch Ihre kompetente Art war meine kleine „Panikattacke“ beim ersten Tauchgang schnell überwunden. Die Tauchgänge waren ein guter Mix zwischen Tauchfertigkeiten lernen und Unterwasserwelt entdecken. Weil es uns so gut gefallen hat, haben wir direkt noch ...

Die Tauchgänge waren ein guter Mix zwischen Tauchfertigkeiten lernen und Unterwasserwelt entdecken. Weil es uns so gut gefallen hat, haben wir direkt noch einen weiteren Tag bei Scuba Legends gebucht. Zwei Tauchgänge mit dem Boot von Playa Blanca aus unter Aufsicht von Max, einmal ins Unterwasser Museum und ein Tauchgang bei Las Lenguas. Definitiv zu empfehlen!albertorro

(Refresh dive + advanced open water course + 10 pack dives) I did my refresh dive with Mo, who took the time to remind me of everything before going underwater, he was very kind and patient. I dove with him several times during my stay, he will answer any questions you could have. The next day I did my first nitrox dives with Adri, who took the time to show me how to use an air analyzer, and give me all the important information. I then did my advanced open water with Adri again, who loves talking and giving long briefings! Everything said was interesting and useful for the training, and we all had a lot of fun (especially during the rescue dive). The last day I dove alone with Maria, we were very lucky because it was early and there weren't many people in the water, we were surrounded by fishes. She showed me many tiny fishes that I didn't see at first. You'll be able to spot cuttlefish, octopus, nudibranchs, seahorses, groupers, trumpet fishes, etc... and a lot of schools of fishes. Just sad it's not the season for angel sharks... :') I 100% recommand them, it was unforgettable! Thank you very much for the experience guys!!267ladyl
