Overview
  • It's difficult for us to enjoy cooking together directly but we can enjoy it through online.

    Today, we want to share how to make "taco rice".Taco rice is an Okinawan local food.The roots of this is tacos, Mexican traditional food.

    Traditionally, meat is used but we use tofu for vegan.Tofu is high protein and low carbohydrate so it's good for beauty and shaping our body.

    We chose simple ingredients that we can get easily.Our recipe is simple and easy so kids can also make it.
    This is a great way to get plenty of veggies and it's also very filling.

    Tofu Taco Meat is very convenient to store.

    This dish is easy to eat and has an easy-to-flavor flavor, so it's a delicious dish for all ages.

The experience will be held on Sunday at 10 a.m and Monday at 10 a.m Japan time.
We enjoy making "vegan taco rice".
Taco rice is a famous traditional local food in Okinawa.
"Taco" means tacos, a very famous Mexican food and we use rice instead of tortilla.

Also, when we make taco rice, we usually use meat but I use tofu.
Tofu is a traditional vegan food in Japan, high protein, low calorie, very healthy food.

Have you ever use miso?
Miso is a Japanese traditional fermented seasoning.
Miso is good for our intestinal environment and strengthen our immune system.Miso soup is very popular but miso is very useful seasoning so I want to share how to use miso in various dishes.

My taco rice recipe is very easy, tasty and good for diet.
Please try it together!!

※Please prepare these ingredients and tools.
*Makes in single servings.
・Rice (cooked rice as much as you like)
・1/2 of a tomato, fresh or canned
・40g boiled beans (can is also OK)
・2 or 3 slices of lettuce
(lettuce of your choice)
・1/4 to 1/2 of an avocado 
・140g cotton tofu (one small tofu or half a 350g of tofu would be fine)
・1/4 of an onion
(You can add vegetables such as carrots and shiitake mushrooms if you like)
・2 tbsp of ketchup
・1/2 tbsp of miso paste
・A pinch of salt
・A little pepper
・1/2 to 1 tbsp of vinegar
・1/2 tbsp of oil (your choice)
・Spice of choice (chili or curry powder)

Use a microwave oven, frying pan, wooden spatula, cutting board, knife, tablespoon and kitchen paper.
