We had a wonderful trip, guided by Raj throughout old city, who had brought his own camera to make sure we got good pictures 😊 We really felt like we saw the real Delhi - Ramram

This guide was GREAT! Great knowledge of history, of place, of food and funny to boot! I would soooo recommend for anyone interested in Old Delhi (and I actually didn't know that I was interested until I took his tour)!

If you want an experience of the real life in Old Delhi then this tour is a MUST. Raj was an amazing, knowledgeable and authentic guide as he is a resident of the area. His thoughtfulness, hospitality and generosity was exceptional. We were even entertained for lunch by the company owner Dhruv in his own home. A beautiful meal (all safe and no tummy issues).. We can't recommend this company highly enough for their service, care and the whole experience. One of the most fascinating days I've ever experienced. Not to be missed.

The walking tour around Old Delhi this week was expertly hosted by Vivian. He took us on a great tour around the streets and alleys that make up this fascinating part of the city. Lunch at the Haveli was really enjoyable, cooked with all fresh ingredients. Very good.

Can not express how much we enjoyed this tour. Raj was an excellent guide through Old Delhi. As a local he shows you Old Delhi through his eyes as he leads you through parts of Old Delhi that most tourists don’t see. He is an excellent photographer and guided us to some great photos and provided us with copies of the photos he took as well. We had an amazing meal at the end of the tour and the opportunity to go inside a local Haveli and they even provided us the recipes. It was a very informative tour, would highly recommend.

We are seasoned travelers. And had we walked around Old Delhi on our own, it would not have been nearly as fulfilling and interesting. Our tour guide, Varun, created a tour so full of insights and history. We went down narrow streets and alcoves to witness everyday goings-on about in India. This is an immersive experience given the amount time. We went to a beautiful private home and had a delicious sit down meal. Come hungry because the food is amazing and plentiful and varied! Varun is a kind and thoughtful and funny tour guide. We highly recommend.

From start to finish, one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. Our guide, Varun, was so knowledgeable, fun, flexible, competent, and understanding. He made us feel immediately comfortable. The tour itself is spectacular — weaving through the streets with Varun felt fun and joyful, and he brought us to and through areas that felt unique and interesting while giving context on the overall history. Our tour ran over the expected time, and it was never an issue — Varun was gracious and warm and organized. I would recommend this experience to everyone visiting India, and hope to join the tour again next time I’m here!

We had an informative walk through parts of Old Delhi with the very knowledgeable Varun. If you would like a large dose of history and cultural information on a tour then this is the one for you. If you would like to try safe and delicious street food and a delicious home cooked meal in a beautiful renovated Haveli then this trip is also for you! Varun was a wealth of information about many things and was always happy to answer questions or tell us about early India and Indian religion. We tried a few street food specialities and wondered through the streets of Chawri bazaar and Chandi Chowk with Varun going up and down lanes that we would never have done by ourselves. The main highlight for me was visiting Mr Gupta’s beautiful haveli which is still used as a family home. The meal we had there was delicious and very generous and Varun did everything to make us feel at home . It was a lovely tour and we wish Varun,Dhru and the company all the best

We had an extra day in Delhi before our tour officially started. We booked this tour and were amazingly surprised at how much we enjoyed the experience. The history, local food and the meal at the home of one of the Founder's were beyond anything we imagined. We were treated like royalty by Varun!! He was never in a hurry and did everything in his power to make sure that we understood his couture, city and its rich history. What a great way to begin our journey of India!

First impressions of Old Delhi can be misleading - yes it is loud, crowded and messy but our excellent guide Vivian gave us the confidence to explore the warren of alleyways, wander round shops and temples, try the local food and ride in a rickshaw. By the end of this fun and informative tour we left with a fresh opinion of this old town and it friendly people as well as a new love for chai. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore Old Delhi

I checked reviews on many companies before deciding on this one. It was our first time in Delhi and we wanted an authentic tour of old Delhi. Wow. We were not disappointed. Communication was great from the very beginning of booking. Our guide Anju met us promptly. The tour was just myself and my husband. Anju had lived in old Delhi all her life and knew everyone and everything about the area. We saw things we would never had known about without anju. She took us to some amazing places and fed us incredible food along the way. This was a half day tour and it finished with lunch at Masterji Kees home. Which as well as being a taste sensation was fascinating. Thank you so much. It was an absolute pleasure.

Varun was an excellent guide with loads of local knowledge, and it was fun to have an introduction to Old Delhi without any stress of finding my own way around, what is safe to eat etc. Finishing the morning with a lunch at an authentic haveli was a real treat. Excellent tour.

Great introduction to Old Delhi. You will see things and places you would not find your self. I woud love to do the tour once again. Strongly recomended.

This was recommended to us by friends from Delhi, and we were not disappointed. The tour was utterly wonderful. Anju was our host, and she brought Old Delhi alive for us. We were guided through the town with enthusiasm and knowledge and a large amount of delicious food. If you only have a day in the city, this would be a good way to spend it. If you have longer, this would be a great way to start it, as we did. Thank you Anju, our family was very happy to meet you, and your extended family and friends of Old Delhi.

What an amazing day amongst new friends! Varun started the afternoon providing a history lesson to help us better understand how Old Delhi became Old Delhi. We walked through several areas, down alleyways to see the various markets, and tasted delicious food from several stands. It’s a hustling and bustling area, but Varun made it feel safe navigating through the maze of crowds. We ended the day at a Haveli for a home cooked meal. It was such a special experience to wrap up a wonderful day exploring! Highly recommend!!

Terrific tour. It’s a shame we couldn’t bottle it. I loved the way our guide (Varun) took all the photos for us. That meant we could just soak it all in, while watching where we stepped. (Wouldn’t want to tread on a land mine or roll an ankle). The mix of stories about the history, food, culture, religion, was fascinating.

Vivian was friendly, kind and very knowledgable about the food, area and people and we had a most wonderful afternoon with him. Old Delhi is a bustling area and has some beautiful hidden gems including the Haveli where we had home made food. 10/10 experience.

The words spoken by our big brother (guide) Varun as we set off on a 1/2 day walking tour around Old Delhi to experience the sights, sounds and tastes up close. We had an amazing time walking the alleyways of Old Delhi, learning about histories, and sampling the street foods. Varun even took photos to capture those candid moments which left us to simply enjoy the experience. We finished up having a home cooked meal in the founders Haveli which was not only delicious but gave us an insiders view of life in India.

Our day with Varun was mind blowing. He took us to wonderful places to taste local food, gave us a fascinating history of the area, took us into his colleague's home and gave us a home made meal. I have never had a day like it.
