God guide som var inde i tingene og vidste en masse.
The guide was very informed about Nurnberg's history, and took time to explain the hows and whys of its landmarks.
Leider war die Führung langweilig und wir fanden sie recht uninformativ und unlustig. Die Dauer der Führung ist mit 4h angegeben. Allerdings ist auch eine Pause dabei (1h), was uns nicht gestört hat.
Had a great tour with Jason, who was super knowledgeable and made the tour really enjoyable, with plenty of tips and advice on the city.
Liked it very much and found it useful
We did like the organisation and the price and quality of the tour.
Chris was very informative. I wish there would have been time to see Zeppelin Field
Generally good experience. The tour covers both the historical ancient town of Nuremberg and relics of Nazi party big rally ground. Our guide Chris is also quite familiar with the city and quite knowledgeable as well. This tour is a good choice for those not having enough time but just wanting to have a quick view of the city. For those with deep interest in history, more time and exploration are needed for sure.
Sehr angenehmer, kundiger Führer, entschuldigen Sie den Begriff Führer anlässlich des zweiten Programmteiles. Aufmerksam auf Bedürfnisse und Fragen der Teilnehmer eingehend Guter Typ
The tour was divided into two parts, with a short lunch in between. Jason the guide took us round the old town and was very informative in explaining the landmarks and showing us old photos of what they used to look like, especially after WWII. After lunch, Jason took us by bus to the former Nazi parade grounds and the documentation centre, which brought much of it to life. We were all brought back to the old town by tram. Jason was an excellent guide who explained everything clearly and who took time to answer our many questions.
It was nice, but moving too fast didn't allow to appreciate in full the city. We were almost running to meet the time. The guide was nonetheless prepared.
Very good tour ,Chris our our guid from down under was very knowledgable ,and kept your attention throughout the tour . good sense of humour well worth the money. Great to see the rally grounds ,but you will have to use your imagination and have a good look at the photos he shows you as the grounds are now back to being a park ,but there are things still to bee seen. thanks
We had an Australian guide. He is a smooth talker but I noticed that some of the facts he mentioned were incorrect, so I lost my interest in listening to him. Besides that he was simplifying the history too much. And he was so negative about the Nazis, they were stupid, bad architects, crazy leader etc. It is so one dimensional small talk. Besides that the group was too large, about 34 people!
Die Stadtführung mit Chris war kurzweilig, humorvoll und informativ Er hat das sehr locker gemacht und hat ein profundes Wissen der deutschen Geschichte. Die Tour war auf englisch und ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen! Danke Chris
It was our 3 nazi tour: (Munich/Nuremberg/Berlin) and Alun Evans was the BEST guide! Also the tour was VERY interesting and almost personalized. We hightly recommend this tour and this guide .
I can't be sure of our guide's name. It could be Chris. He was from Australia. Anyway, he was excellent! He knew the history, handled everything with sensitivity and honesty. We highly recommend this tour. Thanks! ,
The guide, Chris was very knowledgeable about the town, engaged with everyone from the group and gave us enough time to explore. Being a tour guide myself, I found it hard to locate the tour in front of the Main Train station, as it is a very busy place and the guide did not hold the sign up, but held it in front of him, so we had to look very carefully for the group. Despite the constant danger of the sky coming down on us at any minute, we did make the most out of this tour and the town, which is so rich in culture and history. Thank you!!!!
Great tour ! The guide was lovely, so passionate about what he was telling us that he made us love Nuremberg history ! I strongly recommend this tour
Our guide was late for our tour due to train problems linking Munich to Nuremberg. Our guide had to pick up guests from Munich. Overall, for the price I had to pay (like 25 USD) it was a good walk through town Nürnberg and visiting a few key sites during the Holy Roman Empire and a visit to Nürnberg Rally Grounds. Nationalist Socialist Worker's Party (aka Nazi) try to link their institution with the Holy Roman Empire. Just like what Mussolini did with the Roman Empire. It was very informative and I visited the Documentation Center near the Rally grounds on my own after the tour. The Documentation Center did a wonderful presentation of the Nazi Era. There is lot of good information in English (including an English audio guide). I arrived in the afternoon so I could not see the entire program like I would have if I had the whole day. But given what I could see I would recommend the entire center. There is an interesting section on International Press perspective of Hitler and the Nazi.
Our tour guide Scott was excellent. He was easy to understand and made the tour fun as well as informative. I really appreciated the history lesson on the rise and fall of the Nazi party and its relationship with the Nuremberg area. Would definitely take another tour with Scott.
Ever interesting tour. Learned a lot at the Nazi Rally Grounds etc.
Our tour guide was Achim. He is a history professor, which meant lots of quality information. The tour duration was great, with one hour stop for lunch. I'd recommend for sure.
