What a great way to view the city. Jason was our tour guide and he gave us a good account of the city’s history while walking us at a pace that all could keep up with.

Lovely tour, more than worth the cost. Our guide, Jason, was knowledgeable, congenial and offered insights into Nuremberg’s history that we would never have gleaned on or own. Definitely recommend!

Most tours we looked at either gave you and overview of Nuremberg OR the Nazi grounds. This combined the two and was done in an informative and entertaining method

Chris knew his stuff when it came to history but lacked the rather simple nuances that comes with guiding a group.

We had a great tour with our knowledgeable and funny guide, Kevin from Ireland. He was so good at explaining the history of Nuremberg and the Holy Roman Empire and relating it forward to Hitler and the Nazis. He was also full of facts about Germany and Bavaria. The tour has lots of walking but we had a lunch break where we chose a cafe to sit inside. Others chose to get sausage on a bun from the outdoor market. Highly recommend this tour.

This tour is meant to give you a taste of Nuremberg, but not to spend too much time in one place. The pace felt a bit rushed, however if your intent is to get the lay of the land and not worry about any sightseeing at any of the places you are walking by, then this is for you.

If you are at all interested in medieval history, military history in general, or WW2, this tour is for you. While no four hour tour could ever be said to be ALL encompassing, I think this is the most information you could ever fit in a half day. The guide Natasha presented it in a clear, and at appropriate times, funny or somber manner. I feel her knowledge of that city’s history pays respect to the terrible—and wonderful— things that happened there. She truly made it come alive. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, but above all, you’ll be thankful, I think. Thankful that the arc of human history bends towards justice. Thankful that she was able to open up one of earths great cities to you. As a practical matter, she was also very accommodating and kept the tour going at a good pace. Seriously. Don’t skip this one.

Nuremberg Old Town is a fascinating historic location. The tour guide provided interesting information about the town, the buildings and their significance. The Nazi Party Rally Grounds was a site that I have wanted to visit for many years after seeing a number of documentaries on its purpose and the rallies that were conducted there, under Hiltler. There is very little left of the actual total structure and grounds, but you can still imagine what it was like in its day. You need to jump on the internet and look at some of the images that were captured during the rallies and the almost unimaginable crowds of citizens and soldiers that attended the rallies. The tour guide again provided some very interesting information regarded its design and structure. After being bombed and almost totally destroyed (including destruction that we were told was done by Germans), Germany has left it as it is. It still sent a shiver down my spine, when I imagined the horrrific events that followed those rallies.

This was an excellent tour around many different sites within Nuremberg. Since we were making a day-trip from Rothenburg, this was the perfect way to see many of the most important sites within Nuremberg in a timely and interesting fashion. The history explained spanned thousands of years from the Holy Roman Empire of Germany, to Albrecht Dürer, to the Nazis. My only complaint is that it was difficult to hear the guide at times, and I believe headphones would have been a nice addition so that you could always hear and follow along at your own pace. Overall, excellent tour.

This walking tour took you through the entire history of Nuremberg, from its origins to its heyday in the 1500s and finally to the Third Reich era. Our guide Kevin was exceptional with his local knowledge and willingness to answer questions and promote a dialogue. As a history fan I learned so much and still had a great time eating a bratwurst for lunch and discussing all manner of topics. Great experience.

We did this tour and our guide was an Englishman named Jeff. We met outside the Central train station. I think the tour would have been better if it was just the Nazi Rally Grounds. We did the old town tour first. Jeff has a very fast pace and he was way ahead of everyone. There were a few people that were struggling. At the beginning there was an elderly couple who dropped out due to the fast pace. Jeff knew his stuff but he should not go racing ahead. At times I had to run to catch up to him if I wanted to take photos. If he just did the Nazi Rally Grounds tour he could perhaps go a bit slower and not have everyone racing to catch him up. It felt more like an endurance event than a history tour. The Documentation Centre has so much to see. We decided to stay longer and make our own way back. If you were going to go back with Jeff you did not get long to see all the things.
