Conducir dos vueltas por el infierno verde, ha sido una inyección de emoción. Gracias Serxio por el briefing y a Raquel por la instrucción de la primera vuelta! Pura adrenalina!!!
-But in this case I have to... When we first set out to find an eventcompany in Nurburg to supply us with a car to drive on the Nordsleife there were severel to chose from, and we contacted them all. However the RSR imidiately stod out as the one that would give us independent good advice on what car to chose, and how to prioritice our visit i Nürburg; What to see, Which days to drive, Where to stay, and more... We ended up chosing their "First time visitor" full day option. -And that I can highly recomend. Finally I would like to give an extra 5 stars ***** to our guide and driving instruktor Raquel. Tank you Raquel forman unfogetable experience. Best Regards Mr. Claus Jorgensen
The Nürburgring is truly awesome and RSR a very professional rental company with great staff and excellent service
I traveled with a group to drive the Nürburgring and Spa. RSR provides us with fanatic cars, expert briefings, amazing coaches, and an all around wonderful experience. I can’t recommend enough.
Me and my wife visited Nurburg for our 10 year anniversary. We are both drivers and this was on our bucket list. From the beginning, RSR and Leo was responsive, informative and great to work with. Once we arrived onsite, staff was friendly, nice lounge and knowledgeable. We did the guided tour in the morning and then did our 4 laps in the evening. It was an amazing experience, cars performed as expected, instructor lap was great (I had Allen) and nothing but smiles the rest of the day. I would do it again in a heartbeat with RSR and wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone.
Excellent friendly staff. Leo, our guide, was very informative & the owner recommended a great restaurant in nearby Koblenz. Would highly recommend booking a taxi or do the full day package to drive on the ring yourself!
This was an EXCELLENT experience getting a guided tour of the beautiful area and history around the track. Then of course the driving experience on the track itself is unlike any other in the world. Thanks to RSR and Serena for an experience of a lifetime for both myself and my mother.
Had the best day doing the first timer experience package. Our guide and instructor Leo was amazing would definitely recommend him to anyone who is visiting was very helpful with tips and just all round great to talk to. Would definitely advise anyone who is thinking about driving the Nürburgring to do it with these very helpful great selection of cars and safety briefing is very informative and helped prevent a lot of accidents. Thanks for a great day Leo.
Fast and efficient customer service, multi lingual support, friendly instructors, solidly prepared vehicles; RSR makes visiting the Nürburgring easy.
Absolutely hands down the best company to go with if you ever visit the Nürburgring! Customer service from the entire RSRNurburg team was beyond excellent (Shoutout to Leo for setting this up for me many months in advance!) and the first time package was everything that I've expected...worth every euro. I will be back for more including doing laps on the Spa-Francorchamps when I have the time the next go around. My instructor was awesome! (Pedro I believe, sorry!). They do emphasize heavily on the risks and the cost of damages that is in the thousands of Euros in the event that you are involved in a unfortunate accident of any kind (not limited to the car that you're renting but the barrier damage, ground damage, clean-up, etc.) Very excellent in deterring potential recklessness on the track.
Most motorsports fans are keenly aware of the famed Nürburgring Nordschleife and how their favorite sportscars have made history on this wonderful piece of German pavement. Getting to know the track, the history, and the culture makes for a wonderful holiday "bucket list" item but may also lead to an expensive new hobby. RSR does a fantastic job of bringing the track to life for visiting enthusiasts. I highly recommend the First Timer package to anyone's first visit. The area tour, introduction to the various important sections, background, history, and stories added a cool slice of race culture to the experience. The RSR team are friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated to both safety and a positive customer experience. You might find yourself back here time and time again for track days, but there's only one first experience. RSR is most definitely the right way to go.
Enjoyed the self drive lap with Patrick's coaching, returning the car with no modifications. This way I can say " I've driven Nürburgring" The Taxi lap with Elod Zsarka in the 991 GTRS3 was absolute excitement. The behaviour of the vehicle under acceleration and braking was outstanding. Looking forward to my 80th birthday (2029) so I can have a repeat birthday present.
Drove ten laps in a Golf R courtesy of RSR Nürburgring. The process was remarkably easy, especially given I live in the U.S. and had never driven the track. The briefing was good and helped me understand the expectations of the more experienced 'Ring drivers. It also helped me know what to expect from the track and the car. I purchased one instructed lap, which I highly recommend for anyone driving here the first time. It took much of the stress out of the process. After that lap, I dropped off the instructor (and my wife) and drove nine uninterrupted laps. It was scary fun, and after watching hundreds of recorded laps and hundreds of recorded wrecks, I'm happy to say there was no damage to the car or my pride when I was done. If you've never been here, the number of blind corners and the number of elevation changes can't be communicated via YouTube or Forza, etc. I was much harder on the brakes than I needed to be, but by about Lap 5 I settled into a (slow) groove. I very much appreciate the people at RSR. They are racers helping other racers have a ball at the 'Ring and do it safely. If you aren't a driver, go visit the 'YouTube' corner just to watch hundreds of high dollar cars being driven hard by people who (generally) know what they're doing. I had two close calls during my laps (both due to late braking on my part) and saw two close calls while watching others race (both due to stupidity with regard to corner entry speed). A great time and I highly recommend.
First Timer Package. The Ring laps were the reason for going. But the road touring was also extremely enjoyable. The instructors were excellent.
It was my fourth time in Nürburgring but the first time with RSR. I was impressed with the safety briefing, very useful. There is also a nice girl speaking italian that made all easier. I rent a Clio just to find confidence again with the Ring: the car was good and had enough power to make me enjoy driving there.
We took my son and his friend to drive Nürburgring. Serena from RSR was very helpful getting us set up and answering my multiple e-mail questions (it was great meeting her in person). Leo lead the drivers meeting to educate the drivers. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Serena had recommended an instructor for the 1st lap. Terry (sp?) was their instructor which gave them more confidence on the track and certainly added safety to the experience. Super nice guy and very calm. All in all it was a fantastic experience for everyone. The cars are safety checked after every return. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is expensive but well worth it !!
A really fun experience and a great way to learn about the track. Leo was an awesome guide. We had a fantastic instructor as well for the track. I would recommend RSR to anyone looking to rent and get a tour of the town.
We visited RSR and took advantage of their first timers package. Serena in the office helped navigate the paperwork for the event and was very helpful and responsive to my questions. RSR is first class with their equipment (civic Type r for me) All cars are very well maintained and feel brand new! The instructors are very good and patient for a first timer and the staffs knowledge of the area and the history of the Nürburgring is top notch. The next time I do an event at the ring I will definitely use RSR again. Thanks much to all the staff there for helping to make an aspiring race car drivers fantasy drive event come true!
I have driven a number of race cars on tracks wet, dry and a combination. I did drive the Nürburgring in the wet and it was one of the worst cars I have driven. First we received a horror briefing about how to (not) wreck your car. Not much instruction. The tires on car were old and should have not have been put on a track car. The car was basically stock, down to the wheels and tires. Since it was my first time on the ring it was mandatory that I pay 50 euro to have an instructor ride along, I would have to say that it was a waste of my money for the instructor and car. All I heard was slow down, pull to right, I want to talk to you; I even have a video to show it. I have friends that rented from Apex and received a superior car and instruction. I would not recommend RSR.
Thanks to the professionalism of the team and the meticulously maintained cars, had a truly superb experience. Booked the first timers day and instructor Leo gave us a great morning 2 hour road tour followed by lunch. In the afternoon a comprehensive pre track brief by Luis and big thanks to Ray for his particularly high standard of instruction on the first lap.
Many thanks again to Ray and the awesome team at RSR Nurburg for looking after me the last four days at the Ring. Did a couple of TF drives, a track day / driving academy, taxi ring, and VLN / historic road tour. A truly unforgettable experience. The team there are all friendly, passionate, professional, highly knowledgeable and extremely skilled, and most of all, tremendous fun! The vast fleet of cars are all in immaculate pristine condition and safety always comes first. Special shout out to Allen, Luis, Leo, Serxio, Brena, Costas and JC. You guys are solid and a class act! Wish all my family and friends could experience it. Thanks again and am already planning my next visit to the ring - which I'm definitely going to try and pair with some laps of Spa-Francorchamps as well. Best regards, Evan
RSR Nürburg offers incredible motorsports experiences. I booked two days with them, one at Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium and the following day at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany. Planning was done with the excellent email correspondence including rental of the BMW M4 RSR race car which I was able to use at Spa. I had an instructor with me for the first two sessions at Spa to show me the way around expertly then I got about 40 laps of the 7 km circuit during the day, getting pretty quick by the end. The M4 was well prepared with fresh tires and brakes. The following day I met my instructor for my introduction to the infamous Nordscheife circuit who took the passenger seat and expertly showed me the way around the 'ring including braking zones, turn-in points, when best to use trail braking, how to best negotiate traffic etc. After two lap sessions, I was cut free to lap the fabled circuit on my own. Needless to say I was a bit trepidatious at first because I was now driving my own car which had to get me home as well. I can't say I was fast on my first day at the 'Ring but I was able to cut down several minutes on my lap times during the ensuing sessions. I can honestly say that this was the best track driving experience of my life and would be hard to top. I definitely plan to return next season to drive with the fantastic team at RSR Spa and Nürburg. RSRNürburg offers a great experience with great cars and people.
I’ve heard nothing but great things about RSR from friends and online. I did not, however, have a great experience. To start off with I booked well in advance. I even communicated with them via email before beginning the booking process. All went smoothly. However, when I arrived they realized that I had booked the “first timer package” on a holiday where a lot of places were closed. This somehow happened even though I confirmed they offered that package on that day months in advance. They swapped my laps to the morning instead, in a hope more things would be open in the afternoon for the tour. I attempted to get my money back for the tour portion but they refused and only offered more laps in exchange. In the end it turned out okay. I had a one-on-one tour and the guide was the only thing about the tour portion that redeemed it. He was great to chat with, truly saved my experience from being terrible. Big thanks to him. The actual track portion from RSR was also great. The car was a blast on the track and their instructions were clear.
I've rented cars at the Nürburgring many times and RSR is one of my favourite companies out there. The staff is very kind and helpful the whole time, and the location, just 300m from the Nordschleife entrance, couldn't be better. The arrange of cars is impressive, from entry-level Twingos to top-of-the-line GT3 RS, so you'll surely find the car that better suits your needs.
1. Cars - finally drove the Golf R on the track - 4.5Stars2. Briefing Session was spot on, no-non sense guide of the track's nooks & crannies - 5 Stars3. Instructor - Ray was cool as summer cucumber even when my son missed a turn a luckily had the "flat, grassy" section to traverse and back on track - 5 stars4. Session of Four - worth the money and was part of dream of a life time. Have driven Laguna Seca, Sonoma Raceways, but the Ring is the King. Long live the RIng
Since we flew in ahead of our planned tour with Autobahn, I was invited to share a VW Scirocco race car with Autobahn's tour director. The facility is much larger than you might anticipate with factory buildings there for Aston Martin, Jaguar, BMW and Mercedes AMG. There is even a hotel right on the course with balconys to allow views of the track. Gift stores allow you to purchase any number of souvenirs and even offer a toaster that imprints the Nurburgring course on every piece of toast!! The course is only open to general users from 5 pm to 7 pm. Other groups are able to use the course during the day. I rode with our Autobahn tour leader twice in the Scirocco and I drove once. Not having had any track training other than reading Road and Track for years, I have to admit the course is a bit intimidating..........no, a lot intimidating. Any type of vehicle is allowed to drive the course, from motorcycles to buses. There are all levels of abilities and you will be passed more than once by competent drivers in Porsche GT3's, GT2's, Ferraris and Lambos running near 100 mph faster than you are going. The one hour class given by the race car rental firm is mandatory and one must pay close attention to the details. It is a very dangerous course and there are numerous accidents. I don't know the cost to drive the course in your own car, but the rental car was about $700+ for the two hours. (Think about what you would rent your car for to someone with questionable talent.) You are responsible for any costs incurred with your screw ups and sign a form to that effect. Lose of fluids, for instance, that result in a motorcyclist(s) crashing and/or other car accidents will be paid for by you, in addition to costs to repair the track/guard rail, etc.!! Through Autobahn, I had the opportunity to ride with a factory Mercedes AMG professional driver for one lap in a new Mercedes GTR. All cars must return to the parking area after each single lap, but can then go right back out through the gate to circulate another lap. I started my watch timer as soon as we cleared the entrance pylons to the track and shut it off as we slowed to exit the track to return to the parking area. We had to slow for one accident and passed numerous cars on our lap. We maxed at about 170 mph and my watch indicated 7:58 min for the "lap". The cost was $300. I understand these rides are also offered by others. The ride of a lifetime!!! A must go and do.
If you are reading this, then you are probably, like me, a 1st timer. I researched the Nurburgring and RSR. The track is fascinating and formidable. You need RSR to drive it. When you contact RSR you will receive the information you need to make your decision. They have great customer service! My wife and I decided to go to the 'Ring' for a week. We started on Monday with a 1st timers tour. It is a fast paced driving and walking tour around the track with your guide showing and telling you about the track, then a nice lunch at the restaurant located at Hotel AM Tiergarten (where we stayed and you will want to also to see all of the cars). At 5pm we went to RSR to get our track car, a Ford Focus ST which is front wheel drive with a manual transmission which brought back my days of driving these types of cars, which includes a lap for each driver with an instructor. The 2nd day was a drive on the Grand Prix track which was very exciting to drive and watch the action in between. Wednesday we rented a Golf R which is all wheel drive and automatic. A car that l had read about and wanted to drive. The same instructor was with us and gave another great instruction lap for my wife and me to get the most out of our laps. Thursday-rain. Uh oh, what do we do now? We had rented a rear wheel drive BMW M235i. this concerned my wife and l. We wanted our Golf R back. Everyone was on the same page. When we walked in to get the BMW, we were asked if we would like to drive the Golf R again. And we said oh yes PLEASE as we were use to it and a great car for the rain. Even the crew knew what was best for us as the BMW and the Golf R were waiting for us. We went with the instructor who was VERY knowledgeable about the wet 'Ring'. You do NOT drive the same as in the wet. It the opposite side of the track. And you would think he would say to go slow. No. He knows the track and car so well that he told us how to go faster and be confident. So much so that my wife drove 6 laps in a row, passed a McLaren, Ferrari, and a Lamborghini (all 3 at once) wanted more. Ah, Friday. The VLM race cars were in town for a race and we booked a taxi ride. Our guide on this tour was also a VLM driver which gave us huge insight to the inner workings of his team and since everyone knew him, a chance that we could of never hoped for to see how it all is done in real life. The ride is violent and I cannot wait for my next opportunity to go. You get the GP track AND the 'Ring' for about 12 minutes. Our guide stayed with us for 4 hours to make sure we received the full experience. You cannot ask for any better company or the people that work there to make your dream come true! Next time will be a track day and, of course, a VLM taxi ride. :) NOTE- RSR is a company that rents cars to drive on the road or on the track. REMEMBER- they do not own or control the track, so they must go by the track rules and regulations which may not match up to what you think it should be. Examples- the Thursday crashes in the rain at the start of the track and the VLM crash that slowed us down (BTW- we never came close to having an incident!). ALSO- as a final note, PLEASE understand that you are on a 'public' road and any incident with another car involves the police who make a decision of who is at fault and the % of liability. Anything can happen so l suggest you follow RSR's advice and seek out 3rd party insurance (being aware of what you will owe if an accident occurs with another car or if you make a mistake) in plenty of time BEFORE you go or at least buy their excess policy (example- a car is worth $12,000 US dollars. the excess will reduce the total amount you owe to $6,000 maximum. Note- each car has a different value) I cannot stress this enough, but then l buy insurance for everything as l am not a gambling man. Now, make that reservation and go for the ride of a lifetime whether you are driving or riding!
I always dreamed about driving the Nürburgring Nordschleife. This is the way to properly do it! Without a doubt, the best option in the area. Couldn’t have been better. Great communication prior to the trip, perfect planning, and the best thing you need to have before driving, attend the drivers briefing. It’s for your safety, and to keep your wallet damage free!! Thank you specially to Luis Ramirez for his knowledge of the track and the instructor lap. Without any doubt will be back there as soon as possible!
Both the road tour and the taxi ride around the ring were a great experience. Had a great deal of confidence in the taxi driver and was a great run. Thanks especially to Jonathan for going out of his way to make our time very good
