Unfortunately, the aurora didn’t show up but our guide made it fun anyway. I highly recommend you give this tour a try.

The trip was well organized and Grace ( our guide) was excellent. She had a great personality and shared interesting stories about growing up in Fairbanks. However, Chena hot springs was very disappointing. It’s dark and dank and certainly not the cleanest facility. My tour was an evening tour but I doubt if a day tour would have been any better. The cost of the tour is grossly overpriced and not a great deal for what you get. I certainly would not recommend this tour to anyone.Our Guide Ken was great! He told us a lot about Alaska and Northern Lights. Chena Hot Springs was an interesting. The drink at the ice museum is a must-do, the food at the restaurant is of “decent size” as Alaskans say, and the springs were a treat!
