She was always considerate of our needs and handicaps; always checking if we were doing ok. She was very experienced; able to time our excursions with the train schedule. The places we saw were great; she knew the best spots to visit. She really made the day for us. I would book any tour that she was guiding. There was major miscommunication between agency and Viator. There was major miscommunication between agency and Viator. My family waited for an hour for tour guide to arrive at pickup point. No one showed up. It's difficult, especially since we are foreigners first time in Japan. The agency thought we cancelled the tour through Viator. This was a terrible experience. We will never book through Viator again. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and kind. The trip was fantastic and absolute highlight of the trip. It was perfect to go by train, it made for a full, but not too long of a day. Everything was beautiful and very enjoyable.

I have done many tours in Europe and now a few in Japan using Viator. Hands down our tour guide to the BEAUTIFUL city of Nikko - Yoki Nakajima has been the most punctual, knowledgeable, and understanding guide. Rain didn't even put a damper in our tour. He was very well prepared and ever brought us each a little clear folder with ready materials on all the sights we were going to visit. Nikko was one of the most beautiful places we visited in Japan even though it rained most of the day.
