  • Please note - the Sistine Chapel maintains a strict dress code year-round. All visitors must have their shoulders covered and pants/skirts must come to the knee. Please wear comfortable shoes.

We spent so much time looking at boards outside that we had to hurry through the multiple rooms leading up to the Sistine Chapel. Each room was its own display of amazing art and history and we missed it all.

Italian taxi driver angry and upset that he was unable to find the tour meeting place that Viator provided. I noticed that many other people have commented on the website about this too. Viator needs to give a detailed map with the directions to make it easier or change the meeting place. Not...

The night tour was a little less busy than the daytime, but all the sites at the Vatican that we wanted to see were closed due to the time of day..... You couldn't see the roman statues or St Peter's.... Not worth the money, simply pay on your own and hire a private guide.
