Although we were not lucky enough to see the large turtles or any adult ones, our amazing and knowledgeable tour guide Chris managed to find us a nest where some babies were just getting ready to move to the ocean, so we were able to watch and guide them using red light to the ocean. It was pretty spectacular getting to be apart of that natural process and just being on the beach was amazing. THANK YOU SO MUCH Chris and Moses for sharing with us this experience.

Excellent experience with Juan Carlos. No big turtles but lots of babies emerging from the sand. Well orth the money.

Unique experience under a star lit sky. We saw two green sea turtles lay eggs. It was a bit treacherous getting to the beach and was a bit of a hike. Photos are allowed but without flash or any light. The guide had a red light to ensure it would not disorientate the turtles. Be ready to sit quietly on the beach for a while. Bring water and wear good shoes!

We had an incredible and lucky night saw 2 green pacific adults and then found a nest that had been decimated by some predator. Our quide dug out the remaining nest to discover 2 live babies which we escorted to the sea. Watching their struggle and determination to reach the sea was incredible.

It was a great and very intimate experience.
We had a very great and professional guide who went out of his way to offer us the best experience, while remaining extremely respectful of the nature, and concerned about the turtles safety and peace.
As the experience takes place at night, requires to be extremely quiet and involve wild and unpredictable animals, I certainly wouldn't recommend this activity for young children, impatient people or tourists who can only enjoy things they can touch or take picture of. We were lucky enough to see two green turtles. The first one as she was heading back to the ocean, the second one as she was digging her nest. But there is absolutely no guarantee you will see anything at all, and you have to be okay with that.

We were there at the end of the turtle season so only got to see one turtle but she was amazing! Be sure to check that you are going at a time that is good to see turtles.

We were fortunate to see a title on this tour as Mother Nature is unpredictable and there is a possibility of waiting all night and not seeing a turtle. Guides from other tours were in radio communication with our guide though in case someone found a turtle and then everyone could meet at that spot. Our group actually got to se the turtle come from the water, make her nest and lay her eggs! Truly amazing experience!

What an adventure in just getting to the beach to see the turtle lay its eggs! An inspiring experience! But what made this experience most special was not just the local guides passion for finding a turtle in the dark along miles of beach, but more their passion for preserving and protecting the turtles as they go through the process of birthing baby turtles. Disregard the descriptions that says that you will see babies hatching from their eggs and going out to sea! That is not necessarily true. We watched a turtle lay her eggs, that was amazing in itself, but nature doesn't allow for such a bold assumption. You see what nature decides to serve up! Either way, its worth the experience!

It was amazing. I will never forget watching the experts take a baby pacific turtle from the nest. He wasn't moving at first and the experts thought he may be blind. But after some coaching they got him to follow the trail the created while the entire group followed him on! It was spectacular.
