I reached out before the meeting time and told the tour operator that my family and I were already at Mt Vernon and I need to know when and where the tour group was going to get to Mt Vernon and I never got a reply back. I couldn’t call my tour operator because I didn’t have their phone number (only text through the Viator app) and so my family waited about an hour before having to just buy new tickets so we could go in. So we wasted a couple hundred dollars and time on a tour that we weren’t given.Our driver went the extra mile for us. Mt Vernon was amazing but the additional narrative of Vernon as well as Washington and Alexandria as we drove through made the trip.
