We had best hiking experiences in our life! We went to Mount Batur for sunrise with Sidi, the hike is not easy but totally worth it when you’re up there at the summit. Sidi is the best guide ever we meet in Bali. Start from introducing himself till end up the trip just perfect. He is helpful man, friendly, care, knowable and easygoing! Sidi was very helpful and he also makes sure that we’re safe and okay. Oh and he takes really good photos too. The view was amazing, the sunrise really stunning! This Must visit in Bali.

We were getting pick up in time with our punctual driver called Putu in the early morning at 2.30 am in our hotel Alaya Ubud. The journey took 1 hour to the starting point, cold temperatures, approximately 2 hours long trekking to reach sunrise point. And yes, it was still worth all the trouble for the awesome sunrise ever I have seeing in my entire life :) Our trekking guide Sidi was really friendly and engaging, he always checking back to see if we are safe and make sure we are on the right step. While stunning gorges sunrise, he served breakfast for us. The banana sandwich and hard-boiled egg accompany with a cup of Coffee just perfect meal. Note! 1. At last prepare your warm jacket, it can get really cold in the morning up there before sunrise at the summit. 2. There are some people at the base camp of hike who are renting jackets 50K/jacket 3. If you are newbie climbers, you will be fight to make the top but everyting paid off once you reaching the top, the view absolutely beautiful. 4. If you tired in the middle of the mountain, there is available motorbikes taxi to give you a short way to reach the summit by paid 200K. That all, overall 10/10 rating! I and my family could highlight recommended this company to your Batur sunrise trip. That’s Sidi and Putu for your genuine service.

This is one of the best experiences in Bali, although it's hard to start the day at 2am it is definitely worth the effort, best sunrise ever! As I was travelling alone I booked a private tour but Dodo - my guide - made it fun ubtil the top. The trekking is mediun-high difficulty (specially the last 40' on the way up as it becomes prettt steep - as other reviews explained there are motorbikes as an option to get to the too if trekking is not your thing) Besides the sunrise it is pretty cool to see an active volcano - first time I climb one! Definitely recommend this agency to do this tour, everything was just perfect!

Om 2:00 opgehaald en met een local driver naar de batur gereden. Vanuit daar met onze gids Made via de moeilijke weg naar de top geklommen. Niet altijd makkelijk maar Made helpt je overal doorheen. Op de top beloond met een waanzinnige zonsopkomst. Op de terugweg nog langs de koffieplantage en de tibumana waterval geweest. Topdag!!
