Good chance to see nocturnal animals in their natural state such as peresos, frogs, spiders and endemisc incents of the tropics

The Wildlife Refuge protects a patch of transitional forest with a large amount of wildlife as it is part of the Sanbosco Las Bajuras de Abangares Biological Corridor.
Peresos, Kinkajus, frogs, viper snake and much more are observed

Johnny is a professional expert who helped find many animals for us. We saw vipers, a sleeping toucan, many frogs including tadpole embryos, a sleeping sloth, & other creatures all in the darkness. We had a private tour with Johnny himself, and it far exceeded our expectations. Johnny was upbeat, funny, very informative, and professional. He made the tour outstanding. He had an amazing binocular scope which he could zoom-in on animals and insects from a great distance away to view them with incredible clarity. We saw so many animals: a snake, a howler monkey, a sloth, sleeping butterfly, sleeping hummingbird, tiny pigmy frogs, bats, spiders, grasshoppers, tiny insects, and more. He really brought the jungle to life. Amazingly, at night, in the dark, he saw all the details and had all the scientific and cultural information to back it up.
