The tour was fine, but there were a few things that brought it down. We had Hedwig as our tour guide, who was a nice lady and clearly knowledgeable, but for us, focused on the wrong things. The good: Eze is a lovely little town, worth visiting. Monaco is also beautiful and you're given enough time to eat lunch and walk around - they get you there to see the changing of the guard too. Do check reviews for places for lunch though - we found a lovely place, some are clearly more touristy. Monte Carlo has some gorgeous buildings. The Bad: The perfume tour was not for us. It was about 40 minutes. There's a 'sell' at the end. Not horrendous. We stopped to look/photo the view on route...ALOT. Every 10 minutes we were in and out of the van and expected to take photos. My husband ended up with a bruise on his arm from the constant in and out. We weren't given the history of Monaco and were expected to have basic knowledge of Grace Kelly, her connection (which I had read about briefly some time ago), her death and family but weren't told nearly as much history as we could had (thanks Wikipedia for filling the gaps). If you're into celebrities you'll put this in the good pile - but we were not interested in every property that did or had belong some celebrity, this got exhausting after a while. La Turbie: Tiny. You hardly realise you're there. It's a view/photo opp really. Monaco FI race track: You literally drive on it - you don't get to stop or get told much history - like why there's a F1 track there in the first place. We also got taken to see some yachts...including driven 30 seconds from one spot to another to look at the bum of one of the yachts...because is was featured in the Titanic movie. Not for us. We seemed to constantly disappoint that we didn't want to take a photo too. Monte Carlo: You get time to look around - potentially go in the Casino, though there's a queue (we didn't go in). Everything is obviously very expensive which you expect. You need ID to get into the Casino, which I didn't know - though my hubby booked it so maybe missed being told that? It was non-stop chat the whole way whenever we were in the mini-bus, which was also exhausting with a small, quiet group. With a different guide it might have been different and some of the above is personal taste, but we felt that could have been established early on.We had a friend ill in the ship hospital and did not get any help refunding her portion with any of the trips planned through Viator even though we attempted to email and call in advance. We had a friend ill in the ship hospital and did not get any help refunding her portion with any of the trips planned through Viator even though we attempted to email and call in advance. This tour of Eze was mostly a perfume factory tour.....which would not have been our choice. We did not get to see the shops at Eze because of the time spent selling us local perfume and lotion! We would have customized a trip there much differently. The guide was pleasant and accommodating but the day was lackluster overall. This local company waited on the last two people in our group and called to check on them rather than leaving them behind. Liven Up is an excellent local company but we still would have preferred to have a direct number to our guide. This was an excellent tour! Our tour guide, Brett, took us to some of the most beautiful sights in France. The tour was very organized, on time, and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. There is a good balance of the tour and free time. We had an awesome experience!

I would have liked more time in Eze, a truly spectacular hidden gem. Monaco was beautiful as well. Viator representative, Lika, was very helpful in accommodating our small 9 person group and finding us a vendor for our date of service. Highly recommend if have limited time in area and want to explore for a day.

Had a wonderful experience in Monaco. Tour was very inclusive and varied. Our guide Thierry was exceptional with knowledge and language. He was very courteous, and obliging in every way. He took us from the Marinas to the mountains to the Pink Palace, to markets. We felt we knew Monaco a whole lot better after our day with him. He even waited patiently while we were in the perfume factory, which was a highlight for us, also EZE, so ancient and beautiful.
Many, many thanks for a very memorable day. Would recommend Thierry to everyone.
