The pick up was perfect. Our driver Jonathan even lent us his personal hand sanitizer. Our guide was knowledgeable and a lovely person. With every penny.
Booking process was easy and we received communication that our tour would start an hour earlier than originally indicated in order to avoid traffic. Our guide, Clara, confirmed our pickup the day before via whatsapp and was a fantastic guide for the day. She was very informative and gave us great history throughout the day. We would highly recommend her! We really enjoyed seeing all of the sites including Xochimilco, Frida Khalo museum and the pyramids. Clara was a great photographer too!
Jonathan Alvarado is hands down the best tour guide I could have wished for. Very knowledgeable on every subject concerning the tour. He really cares for the true history of Mexico and is very enthusiastic in explaining all your questions. He was a perfect host, had water Gatorade and snacks ready, very safe driver, honest and just all around a good guy to hang out with for the duration of the tour.
We had a great time on the tour. This was my 2nd time to Teotihuacan and it greatly surpassed my previous experience. The guide was with us the entire time and was great with information and all of our questions. Even took great photos for us.
My guide, Carlos, to Teotihuacan was exceptional. Every aspect of the tour provided by Carlos was superior. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and answered my many questions with good and detailed information. Carlos was as safe driver and brought water and snacks for my comfort. I didn't know anything about VIATOR before booking, now I realize that is a it is a subsidiary of Trip Advisor. They liaison with local providers. I was pleased with their choice. The guide makes all the difference.
Ernesto was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable of the topic and he showed a passion for the subject matter. He was very accommodating, flexible and witty. All members of the tour from age 7 to 81 were very happy. Also a round of applause to Gregorio, our driver.
We had a fabulous day at the pyramids with our wonderful tour guide, Mario. He was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and patient. We learned so much about the ancient cultures and history of the area. Highly recommend!
Where do we start!! Daniel was, hands down, the best tour guide we have ever had. Big personality, great listener, intriguing story teller, deep knowledge and so much fun. Nicely paced tour, mixed in well needed stops in shady spots, presented the history that tied together the ancient with the contemporary and even spoke to all of the things that are still unknown
Sylvia was my guide on this amazing day. She came right to the hotel to collect me, made sure I had absolutely everything I needed to be comfortable and then shared her incredible knowledge of the pyramids and the region and country's history. After Teotihuacan we spent a charming afternoon wandering through Mexico City, really doing any she suggested that I wanted to do. It was a pleasure and I would highly recommend both the tour company and Sylvia.
Our guide Daniel was superb! His passion is Mexican history and we learned so much more from our day with him than just the story of the pyramids. We enjoyed his company so much that we took him to lunch after our tour ended.
We were able to see Teotihuacan, Xochimilco, and Frida all in a day. Our tour guide Siliva and driver were both really great. They had love for there city and showed us delicious treats along the way. We were really happy to get to see so much in one day. Mexico City is really big and traffic isn't easy. If you are short on time booking this tour is the way to go.
Sal arrived at our hotel exactly on time and was cheerful and very engaging. He showed us everything we wanted to see with in-depth explanations, and was very accommodating when we wanted to slow down or speed up. He was the perfect guide, and the site was amazing.
Great tour - excellent English with great info about the pyramids and Guadalupe Shrine, arrived on time, clean car, professional service. Would recommend.
The best was my guide marco antonio :) He made the differnce! No unpersonal guide telling you the plain history of the temples. As a anchristor himself he has such a strong connection to the place and will let you be a part of it.
The private hotel pickup and dropoff is the way to go. Vladimir was an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide that tailored our tour and schedule to our preferences. I would highly recommend this tour and experience to a good friend.
Daniel Noguez, our guide was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable about the sites we visited and spoke impeccable English. He got in touch 2 days before the trip on WhatsApp to confirm pick-up times and ask about any special requests. He managed to secure tickets to the Frida Kahlo museum on very short notice (we did not wait in the queue but went straight through on arrival) and was sensitive to our dietary needs. Daniel has an excellent work ethic and is an excellent ambassador for Mexico. I strongly recommend him as a guide and will request him by name in future visits to Mexico
We had a great day. Clara was an excellent guide and the driver was very good. We had a traffic problem getting from the pyramids to the canals, but the driver used all his skill to make up as much time as possible. We arrived at Teotihuacan early enough to enjoy without being too crowded and Clara made sure we saw and understand the keep parts of the site. Her explanations brought the whole complex to life. We enjoyed the trip on the canals, even if it was a bit busy - it was a fun experience with food, drink and the Mariachi bands. Final stop the Frida Kahlo museum. Interesting, but a little disappointing that after looking around the shop shut at 5.30 exactly. Overall highly recommend the tour.
Ulysses was great! Spoke very good English, was on time for pick up at our hotel. He had soft drinks water and snacks available for us. He was a wonderful guide and extremely knowledgeable about the historical site with many interesting stories about the history. He actually walked us back to our hotel upon return since he could not get close enough to it due to traffic. He is very personable and friendly. I highly recommend him and the private tour....we had him all to ourselves and did not have to go with lots of people.
We had a wonderful time. The guide Clara was excellent and was very professional. Our driver was good and he avoided most of the potholes during his drive.
Our guide Caesar was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about this subject. I would suggest asking for Caesar if possible. His English was excellent.
Guillermo was charming, informative, and accommodating to our needs. I would highly recommend his tours!
Location was amazing - Clara was a fantastic guide . Her knowledge was a real asset. She was very engaging with my children
Outstanding - really enjoyed - Ulysses is excellent - request him for your tour - learned a lot and all around a great morning
My sister, adult children and I had a private tour with Jocelyn. It was organized, fun and informative. I highly recommend it.
My boyfriend and I scheduled the private tour at Teotihuacan and had Guillermo (Memo) as our tour guide. He was very communicative and made sure to confirm pick-up the day before the tour. This was hands down the best tour I have ever been on. Memo was super friendly, polite, and answered all our questions. He knows so much about the pyramids and has a passion for his country and its history. I was beyond satisfied with the tour, and felt lucky to have had Memo as our guide. Thank you again for all.
The tour with Daniel was great. He knows a lot about Mexican history. A very polite guide.
Came in time to the hotel for pickup. Brought us snacks and soft drinks.
We can highly recommend this tour
Really enjoyed the experience of seeing Teotihuacán, and the tour guide Clara was friendly and professional. She was very knowledgeable about the pyramids and shared a lot of really interesting information. The car was very clean and relatively new, and the driver really nice also. I added an option to see a bit of downtown, which was made interesting because the president of Mexico chose the same day for a speech so everything was packed (but I also got to see the president while he was speaking). I really appreciated that Clara took a few extra minutes to make sure my transportation back to the airport was in order at the end of the tour. Thank you!
Jonathan was our guide and he was amazing. We did the exact tour we wanted and at no point did we feel stressed with the timelines. We got to see things in our rhythm and he was very knowledgeable and patient.
One of the best tours we did while in Mexico! Teotihuacan itself is an amazing site with lots of history and great views from the tops of the pyramids. Our guide Guillermo (or Memo) was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information with us related not only to Teotihuacan but also with respect to Mexican history and culture. After visiting the pyramids we stopped for lunch and Memo introduced us to some delicious pozole and tacos. As this is a private trip it can be customised in the way you want and we loved it so much that we arranged for a second trip the next day with Memo to Puebla and Cholula.
Tour guide's English was horrendous. The majority of the members of my group tuned out because they could not understand one word she was saying. She also would get angry when they asked questions. However, the part that really concerned us was that she was secretly taking pictures of my group and sending them in texts to unknown people. We caught her doing this twice. We don't know why she was doing it or who she was sending them to for what reason, but we requested to end the tour earlier because we became suspicious of why she was doing that. All in all, not professional.
