I had a 5 hour layover in Mexico City and wanted to make good use of my time. I had read that I could Uber into the city and walk around myself. Then I saw this trip on this site and decided I wanted to do. For some reason I couldn’t book it online and I called customer service, they quickly resolved the problem and booked me for the following day. I got a text from the local (Ana was great too) representative about who my driver would be and who my tour guide would be. Jair my driver arrived at the airport on time and was friendly and social. My tour guide Brenda was a smart and very informative guide who knew so much about historic downtown Mexico City. I had such a good time and learned so much from Brenda! She even took me some side streets to do some quick shopping. Jair got me back to the airport on time. We come to the starting point of this free walking tour with a couple of friends who had booked it online (we hadn't). This did not form a problem; we simply signed up once we got there. All together, there were only 6 people in our group, which made it very easy to ask questions to our guide, Monica. She did a wonderful job of explaining the city's history and was able to answer nearly all the questions that she was asked. I hardly ever write reviews. This is probably one of the first ones. Had to mention what a good experience we had with Andre. He gave a really good customized walking tour to match our speed and preferences, which is a must when traveling with kids. Every stop was very informative with rich historical and cultural references by Andre. Our flight landed at 5pm or so and we were already on our way to the city by 5.45pm. We spent 4+ hours in the city including an awesome taco dinner. We are returning to another tour with this company on our next stopover next week and can’t wait for another great experience. Our guide, Emiliano, spoke perfect English and was knowledgeable, engaging, and full of excellent advise on places to eat. (We also took a tour of Teotihuacan with this same company a day earlier - also amazing). It was schedule at 3 but I wasn’t able to make it. But they were very nice about it and my driver Fernando patiently waited for us. I was a little worried because it was just me and my 2-year-old son but they gave me the plate number to be sure. He drove us to downtown area to meet with our tour guide Brenda. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and fun guide. She was very patient with my son and very helpful as well. She made sure tour was meeting my interests and my needs. We enjoyed the tour very much and I would recommend if you have a long layover like ours (13:30 - 8:30).My husband and I have been coming to Mexico for 30 years. We love it's beautiful beaches. My husband and I have been coming to Mexico for 30 years. We love it's beautiful beaches. This time we decided to visit Mexico City on our return trip home. We couldn't be happier that we spent our long layover touring the historical district. First our driver, Fernando greeted us inside the airport and drove us to the Zocalo, where we met our guide, Monica. Fernando was so helpful. He stored our luggage and he even called and came back when he saw that my husband left his phone in the car. Monica spoke perfect English and informed us about so much of Mexico's history. We visited the archeological site and museum, the National Cathedral and other churches and we saw many murals painted by Diego Rivera at the Mexican Public Education Ministry. Monica explained the murals in depth and helped us find Frida Kahlo who was inserted in so many of the murals. We went to the Torre Latinoamerica building. We had a delicious dinner at the top with gorgeous views overlooking the city. Monica explained many of the sites from the top. She is so knowledgeable! After dinner, Monica called our driver, Fernando. He took us back to the airport for our flight home. We would highly recommend this tour and when we are back in Mexico, we will definitely book another of the Mexico City tours available to us. Thanks you Monica, Fernando and Andres for everything!
