What to expect
A stunning kayak paddle right through the centre of Melbourne with amazing views of the skyline and historic bridges along the way. A short break in a beautiful marina in Docklands and paddle back through the city to the starting point.

- What to bring: Water - Eco-friendly bottle, Sun hat/Beanie, Sunglasses. Please wear clothing appropriate to the weather conditions, you may want to bring a change if you are going out afterwards.

This was an absolute highlight. We were only in Melbourne for a longish weekend and we had a great time on the Sunday morning. Our guide Paul was excellent. Started with very clear instructions with great tips on effective paddling. My wife never paddles and thanks to him she developed great technique right from the start and had a great time and she’s not at all the sporting type! The kayaks were honestly the best kayaks I have ever been in. Very comfortable and easy to control with the foot pedals. Great back support as well, using brilliant foot rests. Full thanks to Paul for a great time. I should especially thank him for checking the personal flotation device afterwards and finding the unit keys and sending it back to the owner on his own initiative. Will fly to Melbourne and next time try the night tour which also includes delicious fish and chips on the way.We had a wonderful family kayaking trip. The guides - Daniel and Matt - were both great and told us all lots of interesting facts about the Yarra. Highly recommend.
