This is what travel is all about. Spending time with interesting people, learning about their cultures, and cooking and enjoying absolutely delicious traditional foods. This cooking class was more than cooking. This was an experience on how to live like a true Sicilian. We enjoyed plentiful cheeses and wines. Learned about and prepared foods like meat and fish rolls and caponata. Most of all we enjoyed the company of a true Sicilian queen and aficionado, Patti! This evening was the perfect Palermo night and Patti’s home was friendly, inviting, and decorated beautifully. We were lucky enough to share the evening with some friendly folks and Patti’s lovely cats Nino & Bella. I would recommend this class to anyone visiting Palermo.Patrizia is a wonderful tour guide, host, and cook! We had 4 kids with us ages 3, 4, 6 and 12 - and she made it so much fun for all of them and for us. The meal we cooked was delicious!
