What to expect
The trip consists of 3 full hours spent out in the ocean; during that time you will cruise around the national park so you can have a closer view of the islands, check caves and birds (blue footed boobies are nesting there), snorkel and visit playa Nopalera.
At the end of the 3 hours you will be taken back to Sayulita for lunch all together at a local restaurant.
The day starts at 9 am here at the office in Sayulita, from here you will be driven to Punta de Mita, where our boat is located and we begin the excursion. You will be out for 3 hours in the ocean, get back to Sayulita after that for lunch and done with everything at around 2 pm.

Had an amazing time birding, snorkeling, and whale watching with this crew. Tour providers were very responsive and easy to coordinate with. There is an option to pay an extra usd $75 to go onto the hidden beach but I opted to stay in the boat and go bird watching, and I was pretty thrilled with what we saw. The folks who opted for the beach seemed really happy too so you have two good options. The snorkeling was lovely as well but the highlight was probably seeing humpback whales breaching all over the bay as we headed back. I strongly recommend bringing a windbreaker or sweatshirt for the ride back as it can get pretty cold with the breeze!Wow, we saw several humpback whales, a school of over 100 spotted dolphins, sea turtle, and all three types of the rare Booby! I did my first ever paddle boarding, high dive off the boat, AND some good snorkeling. Then there is the food and open bar, what a great party on the way back dancing and tequliia! AND I can't say enough about the incredibly dedicated staff who made sure you were comfortable and having a good time- indeed they were definitely a big part of the fun! Well worth every peso!The Capt and snorkeling guide were awesome. Very knowledgeable and fun tour guides. We did not do the hidden beach but the capt showed us around the island while the others went to the beach. Beautiful area! And fantastic blue footed boobies!

Can't say enough good things about this experience. Roberta was very responsive and helped rescue the trip after a taxi/shuttle breakdown. Edgar and Palma were very entertaining and safe on/in the water with the Giant Eagle Ray the star attraction. Even saw some whales early in the season which was also a highlight. Tacos and cold beer to finish the afternoon - doesn't get much better. I definitely recommend the entire team at Sayulita Entourage and will do business together again. Thanks, Tim and family
