Snorkeling or diving this close to Manta Rays is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Listed as one of the Top ten Dive sites in the world according to National Geographic, the Kona Coast of Hawaii is perhaps the best place on earth to do this amazing activity. Manta Rays are gentle giants and among the most elegant creatures in all of nature. We will take you to a spot where they gather to feed in the evening. Our lights attract the plankton, and in turn the Manta Rays as they feed on these microscopic organisms. Sounds exiting? That’s because it truly is. Manta Rays are completely harmless.
For snorkelers, we will be floating on the surface as a group on our custom built board with spotlights pointing down on these creatures swimming below. Watch as these beautiful creatures glide beneath you, performing somersaults and spins

We did the 6pm Manta Snorkeling tour and loved every minute of it. The sunset was unreal driving out to cove on the boat. On our way out to the cove, our guides Hana, and Troy spotted some dolphins. Once we got to the cove we got a thorough briefing, and hopped in the water to experience something so amazing. The mantas came right up to us while floating in the water. At first we didn’t see many, but our guide, Hana made sure to swim us over to an area where we saw multiples at a time. Both Troy and Hana were very knowledgeable, and friendly. The hot towels, pineapple, and chocolate were a nice touch at the end of the snorkel. I would 100% recommend this company for the mantra ray snorkel, especially being that you aren’t in a huge group.Amazing manta viewing and a stellar crew. This is most certainly one of the best and unique lifetime experiences my family and I have ever had. We have traveled a lot to different places and dine a lot of activities but still, this one tops the list. We were a private group of 2 families with 4 adults and 4 teenage kids. We started the trip around sunset time. Sean and Alexis were our hosts and they were amazingly pleasing, delightful and fun. We were given wet suits and started the boat trip around sunset time. As soon as we started the boat ride, we were greeted with cool drinks (sodas abs tropical juices). We enjoyed watching the sunset while sipping on our drinks. To our surprise, we saw a bunch of dolphins put on a show for us against the backdrop of the setting sun. They started swimming along the boat and that was an incredible experience watching them against the horizon of the setting sun. We saw the entire west coast line of the big island and the island of Maui from our boat. Few minutes later, it became dark and we arrived at the snorkel site. We saw a few other boats there with people snorkeling in deep blue waters in the dark. While this was intimidating at first, Alexis and Sean made sure we felt super comfortable before getting in. It was very smooth to get in as the surf board rope we clinged on to was right next to the ladder of the boat. As soon as we got in to the water, we saw a blue light under the surf board and a couple of manta rays deep below. We thought that was amazing only to realize that it was just the beginning. My wife went back to the boat after a couple minutes as she got a bit scared. We were towed into the waters by Sean and a few minutes later we were astounded by the beautiful, humbling manta rays putting on a spectacular performance right under our faces, sometimes coming as close as an inch away from our faces. This was certainly the most amazing part of the trip and while it sounds scary with the manta rays with their large, wide open mouths an inch away from our faces, Sean reassured us that they are the most friendly of creatures and cannot harm us. We loved this experience and it is certainly not describable in words, pictures or even videos. Sean was also super helpful in taking videos of the experience from my phone and swimming back to the boat to bring my wife back with him to experience this while making sure the rest of us are safe and having fun. After about 30-45 minutes of watching the incredible performance of the Manta Rays, we went back to the boat and we’re welcomed with a nice warm shower and hot chocolate. We enjoyed seeing the bright constellation of stars on our ride back while shopping on the hot chocolate. An amazing evening, incredible experience, something that has to be experienced as words/pictures/videos don’t do justice. Thank you Alexis and Sean for being so friendly and helpful all along! This experience was one of the highlights of our trip. Troy, Sophie, and Sean we're kind, funny, and extremely knowledgeable.
