08 am : Our car & guide pick you up at your hotel for Hanoi City Tour.
To begin our trip, we visit Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Museum, and his house – on – stilts, pond and garden, and the Presidential palace while learning about his life and revolutionary activities.
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is an important historical attraction of Hanoi, known for honoring the national hero : President Ho Chi Minh. This is the place where visitors can express their admiration and gratitude towards the common father of Vietnamese who has led the country to independence and reunification.
On the way out visit One Pillar Pagoda. One Pillar Pagoda is a historic Buddhist temple in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. As you visit Hanoi, you may come to various other monuments, parks and historical places. Yet, the One-Pillar Pagoda reflects the architectural splendour that the country has grown.
Around 11:00:Arrive at the Temple of Literature - the first Royal National university in Vietnam - to learn more about education in Vietnam since 1000 years ago until recent history.
12:00: Lunch time at local restaurant, enjoy Vietnamese traditional cuisine with a variety of food.
13.00: Continue to visit the interesting Pagoda :Tran Quoc Pagoda is the oldest of its kind in Hanoi, dating back to the 6th century during the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De Dynasty (544 - 548). The Buddhist shrine has undergone several changes throughout the years, particularly its renaming from An Quoc to Tran Quoc (protecting the country) by Emperor Le Huy Tong in the 17th century.
15:10: Visit Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword lake) and Ngoc Son Temple.
Hoan Kiem Lake is considered the center of Hanoi, not only physically but also symbolically. Hoan Kiem lake is still a pride of all Hanoians and the center for any distance measurement. Nowadays, it’s still a gathering place yet new Hanoians may live too far to count their distance to the lake. Still, as you walk by, you will be able to witness the pace of life in this peculiar city.
Ngoc Son Temple is Hanoi's most visited temple which sits on a small island in the northern part of Hoan Kiem Lake, connected to the lakeshore by an elegant scarlet bridge, constructed in classical Vietnamese style
15:35: Take an 35 to 40 minutes walking tour around the Old quarter to discover the streets.
16:30: Return to your hotel. Finish your tour!

I’d like to send my sincerely thanks to Tripadvisor. I had an amazing experience in Hanoi. With the informative and personalized commentary friendly guide, I got to see and do so many things in this trip. In the morning, I visited the important buildings in Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the stilt house of Ho Chi Minh president. They’re all very captivated. Next, the guide took me to the very special architecture place – One Pillar Pagoda. Then I had a chance to visit Temple of Literature with historical relics. After that, I enjoyed unique Vietnamese food, pho bo. It was extremely delicious. One more thing that was unforgettable to me is Egg Coffee. It’s a must-try drink when coming to Hanoi. In the afternoon, I explored Hoan Kiem Lake with a leisurely one-hour cyclo tour then walked into the hidden alleys of Hanoi Old Quarter to learn about local customs and Hanoian lifestyle. I will surely come back to Vietnam and definitely recommend Tripadvisor.Joyjoy2009

If you plan to travel Southeast Asian, don’t skip the Capital of Vietnam. Hanoi retains elegance and charm not often found in this part of the world, the city’s French influence is to be seen in the fine old colonial buildings and tree lined boulevards. Ah, one thing special is that there are so many motorbikes on the road, it’s quite dangerous but really unmissable to experience. It is so deniable if you don’t try traditional Vietnamese food.
