Do not book this tour. I attempted to cancel my booking 1 week in advance. The cancellation policy is 3 days. Upon receiving the news of canceling the tour, a lady named Ruth at the company refused my phone calls, emails and WhatsApp messages to acknowledge a refund. This is an ongoing battle with this company and I do not recommend booking.

So much fun! Sam has such a great sense of humor and was a great guide. Every vineyard had such great things to say about him. 10/10 would recommend!!

Being able to pet a Koala bear was a once in a lifetime experience. We loved the wine tasting and the laid back nature of the tour with our guide Sam.

Animal sanctuary was amazing!! It was drizzling out, but that made all the animals come out of hiding! Cheese and chocolates were delicious and had unique flavors. Wineries were great. The second winery had wild kangaroos hopping around the vineyards. Besides all that, Sam was an excellent driver and host.

Nice tour, the wildlife park is really nice and obvious animals well looked after, I personally would prefer lunch at a winery rather than a resort, the first winery I didn’t rate - Allandale, just wasn’t great at all. Second winery was beautiful and really good - Bon Villa, and would be nice to have a bit livelier music on way home. With a change of lunch venue and changing out first winery would be 5 star. Sam was a really good guide and knowledgable.

The trip was very well organised and each stop / activity was excellent with very enjoyable mix of spending time with the animals, choc/cheese tasting, lunch and excellent wine tasting. Sam our guide was very informative and looked after the group so well - lovely mix of 11 people in the group. A great day.

Sam was an absolutely fabulous tour guide. He was personable and knowledgeable about wines and wildlife preservation. We had a wonderful experience at the wildlife center (up close and personal with koalas and kangaroos). The wine tastings were superb. We highly recommend this tour

This was a very happy experience for us. The Reptile Park of Australia was outstanding. The park, which was our first stop, is in a beautiful location, and had much more than just reptiles. We interacted with koalas, where (with supervision by one of the park's animal experts) we could scratch them and take pictures while doing so. The park had kangaroos that we hand fed and stroked. The kangaroos were very gentle and calm. Other animals there included Kamodo lizards (no touching them!), crocodiles, aligators, dingos, wallabies, Tasmanian Devils, and many more. All the employees were friendly and helpful. This park is commited to the proper treatment of all their animals, and does a lot for enhancing the natural environment around Australia. Our other stops included wine tasting at boutique wineries, where we sampled various wines with no pressure to buy anything. We had a tasting at a cheese shop where a variety of cheeses are locally made. We had an excellent lunch. Throughout our day, our personable guide, Sam, was very solicitous and knowledgable. The van was comfortable. The other guests, 8 other people, mentioned that this tour exceeded their expectations. The front office was very responsive and understanding (a shout out to Ruth). This was an all day tour and we highly recommend it.

I had an amazing time on this trip yesterday. Everything was as described or better. Sam is such a great guide, really fun & informative & nothing was too much trouble. We had a great crowd with us too, 8 Americans & myself as the only Brit, but we had a lot of fun & good banter. The whole itinerary was great & very well timed. I loved meeting the animals, especially the Koala’s & Kangaroos in the morning. Really enjoyed the cheese & chocolate tastings & sampling the various wines at the vineyards. Great lunch stop too at the golf club. I learnt a lot throughout the day too. All in all, a brilliant & very well thought out trip. Would 100% recommend.

Had a relaxing and fun time. The driver and tour guide was friendly. He really knew the area, and made the trip easy and fun. It was nice to kick back and not have to worry about anything. It was such a treat to go to the boutique wineries, and the wildlife reserve was a memorable experience. Cheese and chocolate, and a nice lunch made it even better. Hunter valley is beautiful. If you’d like to see lots of different things (but mostly enjoy good wine, food, and scenery) and kick back, this tour is for you. Worth every penny.

Hands down this was the best excursion we have taken in Sydney. There were other tour companies we could have chosen but we decided on this one because of the reviews. Sam was not only very pleasant to meet but he was also the reason for such a great day. Let’s not forget to mention that the views were simple amazing. The trip started with the pick up location being very easy to navigate to. The ride was most comfortable with AC and a cooler in the back for any items you purchased that needed to stay chilled throughout the day. We visited the reptile park and it did not disappoint. The animals were well kept and not locked up in cages. We were able to be so close to the kangaroos, which was exactly what we wanted. Then we visited a few wineries and sampled some very nice wines. We also visited a chocolate and cheese store. The lunch was very very good. It was on time, enjoyable and no time was wasted. Sam was very knowledgeable about the history of Australia, the animals at the reptile park as well as the vineyards. There are alot of companies you can chose when booking your tour. But I promise you, you will not go wrong with booking luxury Hunter Valley Wildlife Tour. You will be pleased with your decision. Book them!

This tour was the best of both worlds....animals and wine! The tour guide was very informative both in animals and wine. The animal experience was hands on and the animal preserve is well respected. The wine tour consisted of 3 stops and included some interesting snacks to pair with your wine. Great tour overall. Was a decent drive out to the wine country.

Our guide and driver for the day Sam was terrific but this whole tour was very poor value for money and should be avoided. The first stop was an excellent wildlife park where we could have stayed a bit longer to see all the animals. We then went to shop that sold olive oil and chocolate where we tasted some of the produce we were obviously being lined up to buy. Then another hours drive and onto a nice golf club for lunch and drinks which should have been included in the original deposit but we had to pay for. Then to two wine tastings at two mediocre Hunter Valley vineyards where we learnt nothing about the vineyards. Just another shopping trip. After the second stop we had a two and half hour trip back to the City so in total we spent nearly five hours in the very cramped mini van. Total cost was $ 470 for two of us which was a rip off.
