Day 1: Fly Aswan - Abu Simbel
Stop At: Abu Simbel Temple Complex, Abu Simbel, Abu Simbel Egypt
Upon arrival to Aswan in the early morning you will start immediately your trip to Abu Simbel which is three hours drive per way. Upon arrival you will have an hour guided tour outside the temple and you will be left to explore the temple and see every corner.
It is advisable you ask your hotel to prepare a breakfast box for you at the early morning as you might not have the opportunity to have breakfast upon arrival.

You will learn the history of the temple complex and look at all its attractions: study the inscriptions on numerous columns and hear about symbolism in the temple architecture of ancient Egypt. And at the sacred lake you will find a scarab beetle - a sculpture symbolizing rebirth and luck.

Abu Simbel is an amazing place!! Our guide Mohamed was excellent at explaining everything about the site and how it was moved due to the new dam. Spectacular place with a spiritual feeling!! Highly recommend to make this trip!!
