It was the most fun we have had in week visiting Mexico City. This company proves you can have an educational, cross cultural experience while thoroughly enjoying your self. It’s a must in my book for all ages. My family’s ages are 74, 38, and 33.Oh man! I wouldn’t have done this if my daughter hadn’t insisted. So very glad we did! And so glad we went with a guide who was a former luchador, Andres, who was able to give us the cultural history and context of Luche Libre. He was gracious and informative. We had a ball!! And the mescal tasting beforehand, while a seemingly different event, was wonderful and hugely informative. So glad we did this. Would highly recommend this activity!Very fun tour with Arturo. After meeting at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, we took a nice evening stroll through the park for a mescal tasting, then another walk to the Arena. I recommend the tour, as it's fun to go with a group and gain a little education along with it. Super-fun performance! A really fun and entertaining evening with former luchador (lucha libre wrestler) Arturo who was enthusiastic, funny, and knowledgeable. We met the group in front of the Palacio de Belles Artes and then walked over to Mundana Mezcalería for the mezcal tasting. We were introduced to several varieties and also enjoyed snacks of guacamole and chips. A few of us do not drink a lot of alcohol usually so were able to sample and then discard the rest. Clean bathrooms available. Next, we walked over to the Arena México, stopping a few times along the way to talk about the details of lucha libre. This was really helpful in understanding what we were about to watch. We also got to pick (and keep) our own lucha libre mask! Once we got to the arena, Arturo gave us the tickets to enter. Tip: A face mask is required to enter the arena. If you forget to bring one, then you can purchase one from the street vendor outside. Once inside, we bought drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic available) that were dispensed in large plastic cups as bottles are prohibited to keep spectators from throwing them. Food is also sold by vendors in the aisles themselves. Bathrooms were fair. We sat together as a group several rows from the ring with Arturo in the middle, which was great for asking him questions and hearing the interpretations as the night went by. Afterwards, we got a group picture with our masks on and then headed home via rideshare/Uber. Definitely do this tour with Arturo! This was such a fun experience. We were worried that we would end up just being left alone after we entered the arena but Arturo actually sat with us and explained things! also this tour allowed us into the arena through a secret back entrance! This was such a fun experience. We were worried that we would end up just being left alone after we entered the arena but Arturo actually sat with us and explained things! also this tour allowed us into the arena through a secret back entrance! At the end of the show he took us to a place where we can all be picked up properly without the crowd and waited until everyone was picked up by their Ubers. Arturo was excellent. He was very animated and fun to listen to. His personal experiences also helped make things truly fun to listen to. Highly recommend this tour!!! Especially with Arturo!Worst Tour EVER!!!!! To say “moderate “walking is a HUGE understatement. Too much walking and walking and walking . Food with the mezcal was tasteless and minimally seasoned. Overall a waste of money and time.
