We visited Longmen Grottos, Shaolin Monastery, Luoyang's Muslim market, we ate two fabulous lunches of local specialties and slept well in a great hotel, all of which Lisa found and booked for us. She and her driver picked us up at the train station in a very nice sedan, took us to all of these activities and delivered us back to the train station, all in 36 hours. Lisa is knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and a delight to visit with. We highly recommend her services.R3987RRmarks

I spent two pleasent days in Luoyang with Lisa (Luo Lee Feng, [email protected] Lisa was a charming and very knowlegible woman having been born and raised in Luoyang. Our first day was a visit to the Longmen Grottoes. Located along the Yihe River, they consist of ten of thousands of statues of the Buddha and other figures. They range in size from the Vairocana Buddha at 53 feet in height to others only a few inches tall. The next morning Lisa and I took a walking tour of the old city of Luoyang where she grew up. In the afternoon we visited the Shaolin Temple and were treated to an exhibition of martial arts by the monks. Later we visited the Pagoda Forest, the final resting place of many Shaoling monks. All in all a very relaxing and informative two days. I enjoyed it very much. And before we parted she gave me a Chinese Knot, a braided tassel, meant to bring good luck. I highly recomment Lisa for your visit to Luoyang. It was fun traveling with her.
