Can't be any better.
In all matters a highly recommendable tour! Mr Coelho was a very competent guide who not only showed us the usual sights, but also told us a lot of things about Lisbon, Portugal and the Portuguese which are not told by the common guides.
The tour was just perfect! Even though she lasted for 8 hours, it was never boring. Our wishes were taken into account: Sights we had seen before were withdrawn from the programme and instead some interesting things were added. We can only recommend rent-a-guide to everyone!!! Because this kind of tour is individual and one doesn't run around in a group of 20 people without getting the information!
We liked the tour very much. The time flew by. It was a very interesting and varied tour.
A very kind and competent guide. In those 8 hours, he gave us some space from time to time which means that he didn't talk the whole time. We thought that very pleasent. Everyone who comes to Lisbon should do this tour!
My husband and I had the eight-hour city tour with Mr Coelho. We were very thrilled. Mr Coelho gave us an understanding of the city, the country and the people and opened our eyes for the small details. I can highly recommend this tour! Heike S.
Paulo Coelho is an excellent, very competent and officially certified guide. He told us a lot about background and historical details and took our wishes into account. With him we were able to see places of Lisbon we would'nt have found without him. A very nice and relaxed tour. Highly recommendable.
We were all very thrilled, great planning, we saw all sights in an appropiate amount of time. The lunch break was great. We did get a lot of tips for our further stay in Lisbon which were also great. We found everything without any problems.
Everything was very well organised, we did see a lot and got great tips. A really competent tour.
All our tours we booked via rent-a-guide were great, but the private tour with Paulo Coelho was the highlight. His German is perfect and his knowledge is breathtaking. Moreover, Paulo shows you places, you wouldn't find on your own. Thank you.
The tour with P. Coelho was very good and we would always do it again. His way of arousing interest for the sights and being very relaxed at the same time was surely one of the highlights of our stay in Lisbon.
My wife and I were in Lisbon this August and had some gorgeous days over there. I want to emphasize the competent and thoughtful guidance by Mr Coelho. I wear a Cochlear implant and never had any difficulties to understand Mr Coelho.
We booked a personal guide for the first time and are highly satisfied! Paulo did a very great tour through Lisbon for us, it was a perfect start for the first visit of a new city. He provided us with impressions and information about Portugal, the sights and the people, we wouldn't have gotten without him. He had an answer to all our questions! Paulo knows the history of Portugal by heart and can provide his guests with it very vividly. Thank you Paulo for these wonderful days in Lisbon.
A real highlight! Is was a super brilliant day with Paulo who gave us an impression of the city, the country & the people.
On the 31st of May 2013, Mr Coelho guided us through Lisbon. We did learn a lot about his city and his country. It was a wonderful tour. We can only recommend a tour with Mr Coelho.
Highly recommendable!!! If you want to get to know and love Lisbon and the soul of the people in Portugal, you have to do this tour with Paulo Coelho and his huge knowledge about this country and his people.
In every way great...
A really wonderful day which was designed by our guide in a very kind, competent and flexible (regarding our wishes) way. We can highly recommend this tour.
Competent and nice guide. A good, comfortable vehicle. Good choice of sights.
We already did the four-hour tour with Paulo. Since we wanted to see Sintra as well, we changed the plans and had a really fabulous day. We can only recommend this guide.
Very satisfied, like we were with the excurstions before.
Mr Coelho is a real expert of the history of Portugal, specially the several parts like the art history, e.g. Batalhas and Coimbras, but also of the political and social situation of the country, the economical meaning, the several landscapes. The tour at the library, the auditoriums and the cellar jails in Coimbra was especially impressive.
Even though I booked this tour via Ms Gryphan I had to stay in the hotel due to a cold. But the group told me that they were highly satisfied and that I missed a lot. They were also satisfied iwith Mr Coelho. These impressions are secondhand.
Paulo Coelho is an excellent guide who took our personal needs into account and did the tour with a lot of knowledge and competence. I would book this great guide again.
Kind, on time, flexible! At first, we had some concerns regarding the duration of the tour, but it was a wonderful day with a lot of interesting information. The tour is highly recommendable! On our first day, we participated in a walking tour in the old town to get a first overview. This 8-hour second tour was the absolute highlight.
Around the 13th of December, we were in Lisbon and booked Mr Paulo Coelho as a guide for his day. Short and crisp: it was a wonderful tour - the best we ever did. Mr Coelho was so kind, nice, competent and flexible like we never saw it before. He did not only gave us an impression of Lisbon, but also of Portugal and the Portuguese. One can take a leaf out of his book! Very enjoyable, modest, proud, always kind, with a very good morality - values we missed for a long time. Since this tour, we are absolutely in love with Lisbon and the Portuguese. Thank you by heart to Mr Coelho. Highly recommendable. Michaela + Th.
Our tour with Paulo Coelho was a really great experience. The tour was designed to our wishes and was done very competently! We can only recommend a tour with Paulo Coelho and want to thank him again for this fabulous day.
I can only recommend Mr Paulo Coelho - he is very well informed, on time and flexible. It was a lot of fun to explore Lisbon with him.
Even though I am not one of those people who like to rate services, because most of the time the service is allright and the rating takes some effort, I will gladly make an exception in this case. This tour was excellent and a real enrichment for our vacation. A special thanks goes to Mr Paulo Coelho. A great concept which was converted into the tour excellently. Bravo and thank you.
The tour was very detailled and informative. The guide spoke an excellent German and had very good (historical) knowledge. In our point of view, there is only one thing that is in need of improvement: At the several stops, we were left to spent some free time. But we would have loved to have some company so that we had some explainations. Besides that, it was excellent.
