Lisbon Food Walking Tour
Overview
The experience starts at Mercado da Ribeira/Time Out Market, the most dynamic market of the city. There will be a break for a coffee and Pastel de Nata. A Portuguese style breakfast.
Next challenge is to take the boat and cross the river. A soup and a seafood patty will be waiting for us. In the meantime enjoy the view to Lisbon.
While back in Lisbon, time for a toast with Ginja (sour cherry liqueur) to celebrate Lisbon food, right before heading next to the grand finale where you will be introduced to the biggest stars of the show.
First there will be a Bifana and beer snack, the perfect appetizer for the last stop, a wine with delicacies tasting. In the end … variety is the spice of life!

We booked this tour on the basis that is was shorter than some of the tours and more reasonably priced. We really enjoyed it and thought it was very good value. Alexandra our guide was really knowledgeable and gave us lots of recommendations about places to visit and eat (and places that were just tourist traps). Having a small group- there were 11 of us - made the tour much more enjoyable since there was no need to jostle to hear Alexandra when we stopped. I would thoroughly recommend it as a nice way to spend a morning learning about the history and food and drink of Lisbon.Alexandra was a wonderful guide. Very friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely happy to be showing us her city.
