Tour guide Mr Ripu was amazing, he was kind and generous,and gave us a amazing spiritual experience walking through those wonderful site of Kathmandu.

My guide was very informative and had a vast knowledge on each of our stops.He was friendly and patient which made the trip enjoyable and easy going.

What an excellent experience. A full, full day with lots of walking - not the usual. Very small group - it's very personal - and what a wonderful man in Robbie. Well spoken, good English and a great smile - he walked us into alleys and into temples and into Buddhist life and Hindu life, and spoke of where they have come from and how they have come to be what they are today. It was a full day - although he is flexible - and we enjoyed it very, very much. This is a great alternative to the usual mass tour. Very highly recommended. Robbie - wherever you are, and whatever you take on in life, we wish you and your family God's blessings, peace and happiness. We are very grateful.

My host was impressive. His command of Hindu and Buddhists traditions, as well as his ability to convey/relate them made for one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. I have been traveling the world for 9 months investigating worldly spiritual beliefs so I came with a vault of questions that were met with rich, substantive answers. This tour is engaging, enriching, and game be a newfound respect for not only Eastern cultures, but any subcultures within. Normally, I don’t last more than 10 minutes in a museum before clocking out and even the museum portion brought earlier portions of the tour to life and the. Neighborhoods were great. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Ripu was articulate and explained the spirituality of the two faiths in comprehensible way. We had to cut the schedule short due to a scheduling error on my part and Ripu was very accommodating.

This was an amazing tour in many ways, thanks to the wonderful tour guide, Ripu who was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about sharing his knowledge about the cultural and spiritual aspects of Buddhism and Hinduism. We visited all the sites described in the tour. Ripu guided us in and out of the different neighborhoods describing the symbology of the temple designs and the cultural and economic backgrounds. We were able to spend as much time as was needed to observe and imbibe the atmosphere of each place and have the opportunity to partake in the rituals by being able to make light, incense or flowers offerings. His knowledge of Buddhism, Hinduism, history, economic are deep and his presentation was accessible to seasoned pilgrims as well as new comers. He was sensitive and accommodating to our personal needs during the tour. He made extra stops to buy carbonated drinks, for lunch, and to pick up dinner before dropping us at the hotel. He also went out of his way to take us to the monastery not included in the tour so we could drop off some gifts for the monks. Ripu personally called the monastery for directions and took us there at the end of the tour. Ripu is passionate about his craft and his expertise in this area is unmatched. It was a pleasure to be in his company and to learn in depth about the religions , symbology, rituals, and historical events in this region in context of the Buddhist and Hindu traditions. I highly recommend this tour if you want to not only get valuable information about the cultural and spiritual aspects of Kathmandu but also experience the richness of culture, rituals and spirituality from a guide who really knows his craft.

This tour offers a great overview of the religious and historical importance of spiritual Kathmandu. Good humoured and knowledgeable guide Ripu led us on foot and by car along the centuries old (and sometimes confusing) practices of Buddhist and Hindu inhabitants of the bustling Nepali capital.

Ripu was my tour guide. I learnt many things about Hindu and Buddhist worship. We walked from hotel to old city market and drove through traffic jammed streets teeming with honking motorcycles! Interesting experience. The full day tour ended at noon. I paid double the price for the value of this tour. I also missed seeing another Bhuddist temple usually on this tour!? I was disappointed to learn this and would like to hear your response? Never too late to redeem karma!

Life and spirituality tour of Kathmandu was the highlight of my trip. The guide is laid back, has good energy and is easy to talk to. I was hesitating between one of those 7 unesco tours where you run around all day to see everything within a 8 hours tour. I’m so glad a didn’t and picked this one instead. Much more time to enjoy, get a real feel of the place, discover little hidden gems and have meaningful discussions. I highly recommend.

We had a wonderful full day with Rabi. His communication skills and knowledge were second to none and we were treated to local insider knowledge and personal insights regarding everyday life and spirituality of various Nepalese peoples. Looking forward to our next full day tour before flying home. A fantastic contact to have in Nepal!

Our trip was absolutely fantastic. It covered, in great depth, the varying religious and historical interactions of the city of Kathmandu, and Nepal. It helped us understand the architecture, teachings, and philosophy behind many of the most impressive temples within Kathmandu. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a greater understanding of the spiritual complexities of Kathmandu.

It's difficult to put into words how incredible Rabi is as a guide. From pick up to drop off, he's an excellent conversationalist and he's well versed on every site he brings you too. He even checked on me after I left to make sure I had a safe journey to my next country! There are plenty of overpriced tours on Viator and Trip Advisor, but you're going to get more than your money's worth with Rabi. Highly recommend.

I had an absolutely amazing tour with a guide names raja or something (cannot remember his full name). This guide had so much knowledge, my soul is filled with ancient wisdom, spirituality and Nepal knowledge. Furthermore I had fun and very interesting conversations about life, happiness etc. with this guide which I really really liked. He gave me all the time I wanted to stay at a place, he answered all my questions and the whole experience was better then I expected. I will def book a tour here again. If you doubt: do it!
